Traditional ryokan style of hotel. Bath was lovely, sleeping arrangements are futons mattresses on tatami mats. We slept very warmly indeed. Owners are lovely people. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended. さらに表示

Staying in this ryokan was a nice experience. The rooms are heated in winter and a kotatsu was provided. You get a nice futon set instead of a bed. Bathrooms are shared (one bathroom had a single tub, another had 3 tubs). If you are unfamiliar with Japanese baths, the baths are filled once each day and the water is shared among all residents. You can also opt to use the shower instead. WiFi is a little inconsistent (only available at the 3rd storey). The owners speak decent English and are very willing to help! The hotel is 5 minute's walk away from a streetcar station (Daigaku byoin-mae), which is probably the main form of transport you'll be taking in Nagasaki. さらに表示

Had a great experience at the Tanpopo. My room was large, very clean and even had a small balcony - great for hanging out a few items of laundry. There was a little odor of cigarette smoke in the room but didn't notice it after being there a while. The owners are incredibly gratious and kind although they speak very little English. I asked to rent a bike and the owner offered his free of charge. I found the location to be very convenient. Although is's in Urakami - just one stop before JR Nagasaki Station the area has several worthwhile tourist sites - most centered around the Peace Park and museum. The ride on the JR Train to Nagasaki Station from Urakami Station is only about 5min. and is included with a JR Pass. In summary, I was a little uncertain about this hotel as it had only a few reviews but ultimately I was very impressed with the hotel and would definitely not hesitate to recommend it. . さらに表示

This really is basic. Washroom down the hall. Japanese bathroom on 1st floor. Clean but not all that clean smelling (mildew). Staff very nice. The wifi not dependable. If you are desperate for a place to crash or are on a budget then ok. Otherwise go somewhere else preferably closer to city centre. さらに表示

We had a great time during our stay here. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We called the hotel soon as we arrived at the train station and the owner picked us up. He helped us plan our trip, showed us how to get around Nagasaki. The Peace Park is not far and there are convenience stores nearby, a 24 hour restaurant too, really good location. Street car station is very close. There's a big fridge, coin operated washing machine & dryer, free WiFi and free green tea anytime you want. If we every go back to Nagasaki, we'll stay at this hotel again. さらに表示

A cheap but good hotel in a convenient location. The family who own and run it are helpful and very friendly. It is all very clean and rooms are large, there are laundry facilities and a fridge for your own bits and pieces as well a a constant supply of free iced tea. The breakfasts are optional but well worth it at 600 Yen for a delicious Japanese feast that sets you up for the day. If I visit Nagasaki again I would definitely stay there. The hotel will pick you up from the Urekami JR station (the local one) not the main central Nagasaki station so make sure if you are arriving by train that you get off at the right stop, even so a taxi isn't expensive. さらに表示

Hotel is a bit off-the city center although it is very near to A-bomb site (some 10 minutes walk!). Around the corner there is a convenient store with quite a good choice of food. Personnel is english talking. Unfortunately in the room there was a terrible smell which we could not get rid of even after having windows opened for thr whole night :( But the room we lived in had a small kitchen corner which was a huge plus for us. さらに表示

i had a great 2 night stay at tanpopo. the owner was kind. he picked me up at the bus stop (key, if you're taking the shuttle from nagasaki airport). he introduced some of the local tourist sites such as the nagasaki peace museum, soccer (football for our european friends) and local eateries. the minshuku is located near a bus stop, streetcar (tram) stations (ie. daigakubyoinmae and matsuyamamachi) and a jr train station (jr urakami station). the showers are of the shared variety, similar to those you find at onsens. there is a large bath tub available for use in the evenings. there are 3 floors consisting of approx. 5 rooms on each floor. rooms are made of tatami mats and made for a very comfortable sleep. wash basins and lavatories are also available on each floor. さらに表示

It was very cozy and I think they may be run by a family. However they speak very little English but we get by. There was a full bookshelf of manga just outside my room. It's quite far from the Urakami JR station but they will come and pick you up and drop you off if you tell them in advance. さらに表示

What a hoot, this place is just like being in a memoribilia shop. Full of fun things and even a go on the very old gramaphone if you talk to the owner. The lady on the front desk is very nice so take the time to say hi. It also has its own onsen so you can have a session privately!! さらに表示

오래된 나무집에서 풍기는 냄새가 좀 났어요. 시골집 냄새같은. 제 경우에는 옆방에 흡연자가 묵고 있어서 담배냄새도 났습니다. 그것만 제외하면 깔끔하고, 있기 좋았어요. 무엇보다 가격이 저렴해서, 이름에 들어가는 료칸이라는 단어는 그냥 숙소라는 의미이겠거니 했는데 정말 탕에서 온천(인공)을 할 수 있다는 점이 좋았습니다. 유카타도 있었구요. 가격을 생각하면 큰 장점이라고 생각해요. 가까이에 로손 편의점, 모스버거가 있었습니다. 전차역까지도 15분정도 거리라서 여행하는 동안 잘 있다 왔습니다. さらに表示

장기 투숙자가 많은 값싼 게스트하우스입니다. 상호는 호텔이라 했지만 규모와 분위기는 여인숙 수준입니다. 장기 투숙자 중 흡연자가 많아 담배냄새가 싫은 사람들에겐 비추입니다. 지방에서 온 취업자들로 보이는 사람들이 많고 싼 가격이라 배낭족들도 들리는 숙소입니다. 절대 우리나라 호텔수준이 아니고 게스트하우스에 가까우니 참고하세요. 여행관련 자료도 그다지 많이 비치하고 있지 않아 정보를 얻기 어렵습니다. さらに表示
