I was warmly welcomed by the lady owner who speaks great English. She had very kindly put me in a room with an ocean view which I really appreciated as I had no expectations of such as I was arriving late and had therefore booked a room without dinner. In Japan B&Bs are called Minshuku and this is a very nice friendly one. The room is Tatami which I like (I live in Japan) and you put your own futon out. The room has aircon and a TV with basic cable (Japanese). It has shared Japanese style bathroom facilities downstairs which are very clean. Expect some noise from other families staying if they have kids but most are considerate. Its on a very scenic part of the Island. Best rent a car and I recommend Times in Sado Ryotsu Port as they are the cheapest and very helpful. Public transport is limited and no buses go around the very beautiful northern coastline which is a must to do. You can rent electric bikes at the port cheaply which can take you to attractions around 20km from the Ryotsu port area eg beautiful Myosenji Temple. All in all a recommended place to start off your Sado adventure. さらに表示

The staff were so helpful and gracious. They assisted us with the information and recommendations we needed to make out stay on Sado Island memorable. We travelled with our 3 children and they loved dinner, breakfast and the ofuro tub. The hostess let us choose which room to stay in - a large room facing beautiful fields of green rice, or a little smaller with a view of the ocean. Five of us fit well into the room with the view of the ocean. The air conditioning in our room was a nice break from the 85-90 degree heat outside. Highly recommend. The hotel is a traditional Japanese style inn and has a common bath. Everything is kept clean and neat. It is easily accessible by bus or car and is located close to Nagate Cape which provides for excellent diving. So make sure to carry your scuba gear. El hotel es estupendo, muy limpio y con todas las comodidades. El personal es encantador. Las habitaciones están bien equipadas y tienen vistas estupendas a la playa o al campo. Los sitios comunes (comedor, baños, hall) son confortables, muy limpios y con mucha privacidad si así uno lo quiere. El hotel es de difícil acceso (sólo pasa un autobús cada dos horas), por lo que es recomendable alquilar un coche o bicicletas. No hay tiendas cerca, es necesario ir a Aikawa (15 min. en bus) para comprar cualquier cosa. A cambio, la tranquilidad del lugar es absoluta. さらに表示
