すごく良い
京都観光に利用しました。 烏丸五条にあり、ショッピングにはちょっと微妙な距離。。 清水は比較的アクセスがいいです。 なんといっても京都で少なくなった旅館、雰囲気は最高です さらに表示

The service they provided is the best have experienced in so many hotels. Rhe second day I went to Uji and brought back a mocha cake that should be kept in low temperature. I asked them to use their friger. Afterward, when I want to eat it, they give me a plate with fork and knife! Totally superised. And you should come and try the japanese style bath too. I've always wanted to try it since I watched it in Japanese tv shows. lol. Best, ever. Thanks to all staff working here. さらに表示

This place is good for a bit of time travel. It is just as Japanese people would have experienced fifty years ago -tasteful Japanese atmosphere, thin doors, windows sans curtains, outdoor wash basin, and communal toilet and bath. It won't work for everyone but it's certainly authentic and in that it's faultless. さらに表示

Very nice staff, making things very easy for you. We had to change the date at last minute as we had been mistaken in our reservation and they were very flexible with us (whereas they could not be and just take the money) trying to make sure we have a great time. If you want to experience one night with a sweet Japanese garden with assistance from wonder hosts, you must try Ryokan Toshiharu! The breakfast is "must try". just spending a half day in the place will relax you so much. just one thing, people may share a toilet and a bathroom. but it's just a small thing after all of these wonderful experience. さらに表示

I realise it was rude of me not getting the name of old lady servicing us. She spoke amazing English and was so warm and friendly and helpful. Helped us arranging dinner bookings etc., matters that weren't even the hotel's problem at all. So we really appreciated. The house itself was stunning. Loved the garden and authentic Japanese facilities and aesthetics. Would love to stay here again ! Only small complaint, if any at all, is the breakfast room was a bit small and claustrophobic. The two available tables are very close to each other so your conversation doesnt feel very private. But it is not a deal breaker. さらに表示

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the traditional breakfast was wonderful, especially the home made 'natto' - yum! The owner went out of her way to ensure guests took advantage of the facilities such as the big wooden bath which they prepare for you! The ryokan could appear run down in parts but this adds to the traditional claim. The smell of the tatami mat was intoxicating and the creaky floor boards added to the charm. That said they are modernising, at the time of my stay they had just renovated the dining room. The courtyard garden was just perfect to unwind, terrifically zen. Location is not that convenient. It is located at a small alley and is around 10-15 mins walk away from subway. There is no elevator so I have difficulties bringing my huge luggage in. I felt so bad that the staff have to carry my luggage up the stairs. But the ryokan is beautiful and staff is very friendly and nice. They speak good English so communication is not a problem. It is a pity that I only stayed one night, it is very healing and relaxing to stay there. Very clean and I really enjoyed my stay there. Will definitely want to go back again! さらに表示

This is our first trip to Kyoto, which has most traditional culture in Japan. We were lucky to choose to live here. First of all, the master was very kind and the girl AOI was so lovely and helpful who also mastered English conversation. Every request was answered and satisfied. They have two bathroom and we need to reserve before using it. The Japanese bathroom was amazing and comfortable. I would surely recommend this ryokan to my friends and this is definitely unforgettable memory we had in Japan. さらに表示

Though it is small house, but it has wonderful garden and its own structure. Bathrooms and shower rooms are shared but several which are not that problem even for 2-person couples to stay many nights. Its small hot spring is also good. Its location close to Gojo station is quite its advantage! You can go to almost any important places such as Kiyomizu, Hushimi, Arashiyama, Kyoto Station, Shijo and Sanjo, etc. I think it's worth for the expense. the house is beautiful. you will be in the heart of japan. but the toilet is not in the room, and need to book for a bath. this was a little bit uncomfit for us. (we are 5 member family..) the one thing I warn you! don't drink the water in the water pot... we found green moss in the cold water pot :-( except this - the garden, welcome tea, breakfast (not the miso soup), location, staffs, etc was wonderful. さらに表示

Ryokans can be pricy for any modern Traveller but for what you're getting here it's well worth it. We got the garden view which was absolutely beautiful and ordered a delicious breakfast for the next day. This was the only Ryokan experience we had on our trip to Japan but probably the most memorable part. さらに表示

I had a very pleasant stay at Toshiharu as an American solo traveler. The location was a bit difficult to find, but once I did arrive, my stay was wonderful. The woman who helped me to my room was incredibly friendly and spoke great English. She also helped me make a reservation for the bath (the Western one was only available for solo travelers, she said the traditional one is only for couples or families). My room was small but completely adequate for only myself, and a great value for the price. In the morning, I had the Japanese breakfast they served and it was great (2300 yen if not included with room reservation). My only complaint is that the walls are paper-thin (literally, the window to the hallway in my room was just made of paper), so other guests were a bit disruptive late at night and early in the morning. Overall, I would definitely recommend this ryokan to travelers looking for the traditional Japanese experience! さらに表示

Extremely clean, stunningly beautiful and incredibly friendly ryokan. Can't express how lovely the whole visit was, every member of staff was so kind and made you feel at home and the building was like a little oasis transporting you back a century right in the middle of Kyoto. Located just one stop away from Kyoto and 10 mins from Gion! Cant ask for a better location. My boyfriend and I got the garden view room - it was very spacious, and everything was set up when we arrived. Remember to take your shoes off before entering - the staff is strict about that. We also enjoyed the Japanese bath and breakfast. The only thing I wish was better, was their wifi. They do not offer wifi to guests, so we could only use the public Kyoto Wifi. It was non-existent most of the time. For $250 per night, we expected wifi. However, being disconnected allowed us to fully enjoy this authentic hotel :) さらに表示

The Ryokan was easy to find and the hosts were very warm and welcoming. The Ryokan was quiet and we enjoyed staying in a traditional house. The only downside was the midnight curfew when the doors close. We found a lot of cool bars downtown but were not able to enjoy them as much as we wanted because we had to be back by midnight.
