Wonderful guesthouse I ve ever stayed. Love the staffs so much. You can stay one night in Nikko, should buy the 2 days bus pass as soon as you arrive. Yellow line for 2000yen if you arrival late in the afternoon, or others line if you have more time in Nikko. さらに表示

The staff was super friendly and helpful with suggestions on things to see and do, and giving their place a warm atmosphere. The common room in particular was a great place to relax and enjoy the company of the other guests and staff. Everything about Guesthouse Sumica made me want to come back soon. Thank you! さらに表示

A bit expensive for what you get. I stayed in the female four-bed dorm. Friendly staff and nice facilities, tho it was a little bright at night and the privacy curtains weren't black-out. Overall it was pretty good! Just expensive for a hostel with no bells or whistles さらに表示

Just cross the road to both Tobu-Nikko station and the JR station. The owner and staff are friendly and they gave us few tips to explore Nikko. We stayed in a private room. They have washing machines, kitchen where you are allowed to cook. We really enjoyed our stay there and definitely we will choose Nikko Guesthouse Sumica again if we visit Nikko again. さらに表示

Very clean, cute guesthouse with unique design details that make it homey. Convenient location across from the train stations, about a 20 minute walk to the temples. After visiting the temples, I would highly recommend doing the Takino’o walking path through the cedar forest—it’s beautiful and passes a waterfall and many shrines and statues. さらに表示

A good hostel with two rooms for private couples. Shared bathroom and shower facility. Kitchen available. Nikko is a pretty expensive place to visit (comparatively). This guesthouse helps you save a little money. A small youth hostel, with only one women’s dorm room, 6 bunks, one men’s room, and two private doubles. One shower room on ground floor for all, two toilets. Staff is great, place is very clean, tatami rooms newly floored. A little noisy since it’s right across the street from trains and bus station, but very quiet at night. Easy to get to from train station. Guesthouse is totally closed from 1-3pm for cleaning everyday. さらに表示

The guesthouse was located in a convenient place, just one minute walk from the station. The staff were friendly and entire place was very clean. You could access the kitchen for cooking some light food but instant food was more preferred coz there was only one stove in the kitchen and the kitchen was quite narrow. You can easy to reach supermarket and bus stop, just a few minutes walk. The staff were friendly and would recommend some tourist attractions to you in Nikko. The boss was superb funny and even tought me how to say Japanese for flirting girls in Japan. さらに表示

There's only a bathroom in the house. However I had no problem at that since I was taking a bath in a public bath house at a nearby hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is just across the station and supermarket were just 5-10 min away. さらに表示

Super nice host, both the husband and wife are very helpfull. They are very close to the station. If you are travelling with budget, i think it is best to stay here and buy the 2 day pass for getting arround. Nikko is super beutiful. さらに表示

The guesthouse is very close to the station so the location is very convenient. Also, the staff was very informative about the events happening each day so we were lucky to catch some nice illumination that weekend as well. They even give reminders of which trains to take and the schedules not to miss. Highly recommended! さらに表示

It's located just 5 minutes from the Tobu Nikko station and just about 10 mins walk to the nearby supermarket (lots of stuff to eat there if you're not into the restaurants). The staffs are very friendly and very helpful when giving suggestions on how to plan our itinerary in Nikko. When stay at first night, had the reporter come with a interview. ‘Why choose guesthouse is not hotel.’ Every guest have their point and share the comment. It is so special thing of this Nikko’s trip. Mr. Sato is so nice. Kumiko / Yoko / Yuko are so funny (if wrote the wrong name I’m so sorry). Stay here feel so warm~~~thank you~~ さらに表示

Near the bus terminal and the train stations. Staff was really nice and friendly. Shared toilets and shower was less comfortable. Towels were not clean. Room smelled of fish soup, so we had to open the windows to air it, even though it was raining and a bit cold. All in all, good for one night. さらに表示

Highly recommend this place. The host is really nice and willing-to-help, and the place is really near from the train station. Rooms are clean and tidy, bed quilt is warm and soft, bathroom facilities goes really well. All the experience here is really great. さらに表示
