Very clean and well appointed. Lovely rooms and views. Very nice spacious onsen. Excellent breakfast. We were glad to have a car so we could drive to the river onsens and to Hiruyu for dinner, coffee etc. さらに表示

The hotel is clean, room clean is big but toooo far away from town. We drove more than 50km winding road off toll road thou it is quite a scenic drive. No restaurant or 7-11 within 30 miles, it is located in the middle of nowhere. We were the only guests in the hotel on the night we stayed, food was very salty ..... After dinner at 6.30, couldn’t find anything to do, very few Japanese channels ..... overall, it’s not my cup of tea. Sorry. さらに表示

no convenience store around here. but some local store are in this area like 2~10 mins by car. normally they close 6PM. so just prepare in advance and sleep over. cleanliness, location and facilities are normal, but good staffs and calm facilities. さらに表示

I like the service here as they are very attentive. They dont have many staff and it seems they do everything by themselves, swiftly and friendly. The hall on the ground floor is very nostalgic and beautifully decorated. Love the fire place, really warmed up the place during the winter night. I have enjoyed the onsen a lot, it was mostly empty during my 3 nights stay. It gives great value for the price i paid. さらに表示

we stayed here for 3 nights. the room (10 tatami excl seating area and bathroom, toilet and hallway) is spacious for 2 persons. the service is impeccable, the owner and the nakai-san are so nice. every evening when we returned to the ryokan, tea and hot towel will be served at the fireplace, very kind gesture for guests returning from freezing outdoor. both the dinner and breakfast were very nice. the outdoor onsen was not huge but cozy. most of the times it was just me and my friend having the whole onsen to ourselves. outdoor onsen with snow flowing down was a great experience. will recommend to friends who want to visit okuhida. the bus stop (uejigane kogen is right outside the ryokan). owner picked us up from another bus stop (fukuchi guchi) as we missed the earlier bus from takayama. we got the customer service staff at the takayama nohi bus station to help us call the ryokan for pick up. さらに表示

Easily accessible by bus, beautiful Onsen and wonderful breakfast. Staff were very kind and made me feel at home. Chilly hallways but I think this is the norm. My room was beautiful with ensure bathroom and everything was very clean. Highly recommended! さらに表示
