I stayed a night here while I was doing the Shikoku 88 Temples hike.
The two hosts were very kind and accommodating.
They built the entire house the traditional Japanese way. All wood, sliding doors, etc.
Both of them speak both English and Japanese.
The by far best part for me, though, was dinner and breakfast. It was lovely plant based food with fresh ingredients grown on their own land and local farms. I didn't manage to finish all of it but they made a lunch pack with leftovers for me.
