駅からすぐのロケーションながら、静かに過ごせる。露天風呂も気持ちがよいが、温泉の湯気で良い匂いのなか、内湯の寝湯が出来る場所が最高でお気に入り。 強羅でも濁り湯でないところも多いなか、ひとりで泊まれるこのお宿は貴重です。 さらに表示

A very heartwarming Onsen Hotel. The room is clean and tidy. Although the room do not have a shower but they do have a toilet. The private onsen is good. Service staffs are excellent - A "Big Thank You" to the lady that served us during our dinner and breakfast. She takes the effort to explained how they prepared the food and how to eat it. First time eating Kaiseki style dinner and breakfast - the presentation is very creative and the food is yummy ...... さらに表示

Cozy and clean. Close to the station. Delicious food. The staffs are very friendly. I checked out but forgot my ring somewhere in the room. After couple hours I realised and went back to the hotel, the lady went to the room and looked patiently for the ring for me. Finally I got the ring back! Thank you so much! This is a small cozy onsen ryokan, very convenient location. From gora station, take the underpass below the station, turn left and walk about 100m slight upslope. The ryokan strictly receives guests after 3pm, place is locked and no one answers prior. There are lockers (big & small) or luggage deposits at the station, so quite easy. Bus stops are right in front of the station information center. Ask for bus map and booklet with timetable at the Odakyu Hakone counter. さらに表示

The location is next to Gora station which is pretty convenient for travelling around Hakone. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and well served. The staffs were friendly. Indoor onsen(public) and outdoor onsen(private)were fairly good. Booking the private onsen is requested where you need the key to enter. さらに表示

We had a good stay in this hotel. It is very close to Gora station and we took the last ropeway train back to hotel and still caught up to the dinner time. The dinner and breakfast were fantastic and two old ladies were busy to serve all the customers. They can speak limited English so sometimes there were a bit mis communications. Overall it's not a big problem. The food was fresh and wonderful. They provided private and public hot spring and we enjoyed both of them very much. We will come back again. さらに表示

I didn't know my reservation was only for 1 pax (supposed to be for 2) but thank God there was a spare room left for 2 pax - and the view was beautiful from that room! The meals were the best part of the stay here so don't miss out on that. The staff are also very polite and helpful. The location is literally a 3 mins walk from Gora station which was great. Love the private hot springs as well. Space was overall pretty clean and cosy. Highly recommend! さらに表示

Perfect traditional Ryokan with elaborate dinner and breakfast provided. We were also allowed to book private onsen for an hour on the night we were staying and it was perfect for the chilly weather. Although the staffs spoke minimal English, they were extremely nice and helpful; we lost our way on our first night and I texted the Ryokan via agoda and they replied within minutes! This was my first time in a ryokan, and I thought the whole experience was wonderful. I was looking for a traditional inn, with tatami mats and yakuta robes, and Onsen Hotel Gorakan really delivered. The best part is the private onsen time that is included in your stay. The one downside is that the toilet is far from your room. If you don't speak Japanese, then it is probably helpful to know a little bit about ryokans beforehand, as not much is explained otherwise. Everything was clean and well kept. The staff was super nice and friendly. The meals were a fixed menu and were delicious and quite sizable--we were stuffed! You eat in the dining room but have your own table. Be sure to be punctual--one of the staff banged on our door when we were a couple minutes late! :) I probably wouldn't do many nights, just because I like to be able to nap and make my own schedule, but the location is great--partway through the Hakone loop, so you don't have to do the whole loop at once. さらに表示

A small ryokan that really pays attention to detail. The hosts are amazing and very kind. Food was spectacular, got to try tens of different things in dinner and breakfast - all very high quality and well prepared. Room was spotless and the futon was comfortable. Before booking please check with hotel how many person will stay in the hotel. We are family of 4 with 2 children 9 and 6. Although, we had chosen 4 futtons room, upon check-in we were asked to pay 2000 yen per children per night and another addition 1300 yen for the 4rd futton. If complete with Japanese dinner and breakfast 6000 yen for children. But a complete full Japanese experience if you are up to it. Staffs were very nice. さらに表示

Hakone is a beautiful place, but getting some proper food can be challenging. Luckily we went for the dinner option at the hotel and the food served was nothing short of master chef standard, beautifully plated and tasted great too. Rooms were clean, and the service were very thoughtful as well. Highly recommended for a one night stay. さらに表示

This hotel is about 3 minutes walk away from Gora station so it is very convenient if you are planning to do the Hakone loop. The food is delicious and the staff is very helpful. There is not much to do around the hotel at night, so we just bought some beers and snacks from a vending machine and chilled out in our rooms after dinner. There are two private onsens and a male and female public onsen. The staff do not speak much English but you can get by with very basic Japanese phrases, hand gestures and Google Translate. さらに表示

Had a wonderful time at this beautiful Japanese guesthouse. They took great care of us from start to finish and we really enjoyed both the public and private onsen. Both the dinner and breakfast gave us a great experience in local japanese delicacies and were incredibly generous and we loved our room and our little tea ceremony. The location was great right next to the gora station. We would also recommend a stroll to the gora brewery for a lovely drink about a 5-10 minute walk away. Thank you for a lovely stay. さらに表示

Great service, both breakfast and dinner were the best. We stayed 3 nights, foods were served differently - fresh and very unique. Staffs were helpful. Room is clean.
