非常に満足
落ち着いた鉄輪温泉の雰囲気を味わえるお宿でした。朝食のみの予定でしたが、夕食も注文しました。女性にはかなりボリュームがありびっくりしました。新鮮な海の幸と地獄蒸しやパスタも楽しめ、大変満足しました。当日は宿泊客が他になかったこともあるかと思いますが、女将さんとのおしゃべりも楽しかったです。露天風呂は温度が高く温度調整に戸惑いましたが、ゆっくりグループで楽しめました。喫茶メニューにはプリンが２種類あり、絶品です。お立ち寄りの価値あり、おすすめです。 さらに表示

チェックイン時、受付に誰も人がいなくて戸惑いました。 旅館というか…『知人の家に泊まりに来た』ような感じ。 仲居さんもいないし、館内案内などもなし。 ほったらかされます。 逆に気持ちがいいほどに。 一緒に行った彼は不満そうでしたが、私は楽しかったです★ あと温泉は最高！２４時間利用可能だし、家族湯は貸切状態で利用できます さらに表示

Perfect location! Don’t bother staying near JR station, this location is perfect for visiting the 7 hells and super near to bus station with direct access to airport, Nagasaki and other locations at Kannawa 2 bus station. If you're staying in Beppu.. don't bother staying in the city area and opt to stay at the ryokan in Kannawa area instead. If you're taking public transport just ask the driver whether they're going to 'Kannawa Onsen' area since it's near the bus stop and the stay here is the highlight of my trip. Arrived late in the evening and straight found it after arrived at Kannawa Bus station, only two minutes walk along the main hilly path to the south. Was not hungry but thought of lazy to find dinner outside and ordered the dinner at last minutes. The dinner was good with large volumn cost 3500 yen which made me a bit regret when see many good restaurants nearby offers even Kaiseki at lower prices, anyway way, overall was satisfied for the price paid. さらに表示

Really lovely place in a perfect spot for enjoying loads of onsens in the neighbourhood. The onsen on-site is cute and semi-outdoor. Staff don't have much English but if you need to communicate in English, you can sort out what you need with what they have and a translation tool on your phone with the wifi. さらに表示

please support these family run minshuku! it's a good price and the meals look amazing. it is family run, the elder couple are not the best at English. does lack a few things like conditioner and hot water tap in rooms, but easily tolerated. さらに表示

Although they had a mix up, reserving only one room for us instead of two, it all turned out ok in the end and they gave us free breakfast for our troubkes. The staff had troubles communicating in English, but if you have minimal knowledge of Japanese this is a perfect and well priced place to stay, at the heart of Beppu. Seems authentic Onsen (Hot Spring bath), where many visitors are Japanese. Not to expect 5 star hotel, as this is the whole point, to experience real Japanese Onsen, and not a tourist version. Comfy, with 2 choices of Onsen ... 1) Open, sharing with others. Onsen in Japan is naked. No hanky panky! 2) Closed, for privacy. Hope you'll enjoy the experience. If you're too used to 5 star hotel comfort, and not adventurous, I'd advise you stick to the resort version. Also, we booked a room with sharing toilet, with the intention of experiencing Japanese way. Owner was kind enough to upgrade us, with a toilet in the room ... Considered a high class room! Tatami is nice. Mattress on the floor is no problem for me. Love the toilet seats in Japan ... Electronic! Most importantly, it is warm in cold weather. No shock treatment going to toilet! Run by a Buddhist temple. Traditional architecture. In the backyard you could cook by yourself using a natural steamer! If you do don't forget to buy paper plates and some food at the near supermarket like BBQ. さらに表示

Very pleasant stay. Great value for money, superb onsen ambiance. Unfortunately the city of Beppu is underwhelming, overrun with Chinese tourists. Fortunately we found two old cities nearby (Usuki and Kitsuki) which made the trip worthwhile. さらに表示

Onsenkaku is locate near the hells in Beppu. Rather far away from the train station and Beppu downtown, however in a nice district of the city. The family owned hotel is located not far from the bus-stop along a small pedestrian alley near the foreign tourist information. The tatami rooms are classic and come with private toilet. Special is the house owned outdoor onsen, with the little Japanese garden. In addition the family owns their own temple. All service is very warm and helpful. Breakfast is very big and elaborated, typical Japanese. The lady of the house waved good bye when leaving :) さらに表示

This hotel is located near the Kanawa bus stop. There is a small English sign(A4 paper) in front of hotel which is hard to find. Staff are nice and friendly even they don't speak English. Breakfast is home cooking and I really love it. It tasted better than some restaurants. さらに表示

We had a very pleasant stay at Onsenkaku just 1 week ago. Our package did not include dinner, but when we asked the hostess where to find good seafood, she offered us to eat at her place. It was a wonderful meal. We also enjoyed our breakfast very much as well as their outdoor onsen. We will go back there again for sure! さらに表示
