建物は古いですがそれを忘れさせるような感じで、全体が良い意味でレトロな雰囲気で和みます。何度か利用してますが行く度にリニューアルされてたりして色々と変化をしてるのも楽しめます。料理は個人的には塩辛く感じる時もありますが、全体的には美味しくて満足です。お風呂は特に夜の灯りが幻想的で家の風呂では体験出来ない非日常を味わえます。何度か利用してると先程書きましたが一番の理由はスタッフさんの対応が素晴らしいからだと思います。気さくに声をかけて頂いたり、こちらが寛いでいる時は静かに作業をされていたりと気配りを感じられます。 さらに表示

We had a room facing the canal. Although we requested higher floor room, unfortunately not provided for you. The breakfast was wonderful with very high quality. The staff was polite but speaking or listening English sometime very difficult for them. さらに表示

A modern ryokan which gives you a homely feel, we stayed in a twin room overlooking the canal and it comes with a balcony. Breakfast is superb and a must if you stay here. The staff is very friendly and speaks reasonable English. Will come back again . さらに表示

Staffs are very nice to help and the hot spring is good and big! very clean and they have everything you need. The only thing I don't satisfied was the soundproof in the rooms, could hear people talking and walking from upstairs. Also the sound of the fridge and toilet when finished was loud. Also the location is a bit far away from JR station in Winer... Despite that, this is a really great hotel. さらに表示

Great onsen, provides a lot of bathing and skin care products available for use. Location was not considered very near or very far from the station and the room we were given had a view of the Otaru canal . They also had a welcome warm drink of sake or green tea to choose from. I just love this place! Has a lovely mix of an old traditional ryokan within comfortable Western inn. The lobby and Lounge area are is very homey and comfy. Makes you want to just grab a book and sit down for a while! The staff couldn't have been friendlier in my room is very comfortable. It also has a lovely Onsen that was nice to use after a really cold day! Just a beautiful inn and I highly recommend it! さらに表示

Stayed at Furukawa for a night to explore Otaru. It was easy to get to from the JR station. The staff was always available to help. I loved that they had an english map for the area. Walking distance to the strip of stores/museums and right across from the Otaru Canal. I got a facial and a massage, both were thoroughly enjoyable and reasonably priced. The onsen was the icing on top. Clean and well designed facilities. I especially loved the outdoor onsen where I could put on a farmers straw hat to keep the snow at bay. I appreciate that they clean the onsens for an hour every night (early AM) and then flips the women and men so you get to enjoy both locations. I got a single nonsmoking room and it was big enough for me (5'8) with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was delicious as well. It had the right amount of variety: traditional Japanese with seafood and porridge to western eggs with bacon/ham and assorted pastries. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it! さらに表示

Upon arrival they had welcome drinks which was surprisingly good. Their in house sake was very warming. Facilities were basic but the onsen was great. Best part was the private onsen available for booking. Breakfast was also amazing. I loved their apple puffs which were freshly heated from the oven. Food was amazing I think. Some might find it pricey but with the whole feel and canal view I would say it’s def worth it. Just keep checking Agoda for good deals :P さらに表示

We went out but did not know that we had to leave the key at the reception. When we came back, the room did not clean up yet. Then I was told I should leave the key. Then I required for the clean up of the room, but refused by the hotel, saying that the cleaning time is over. So, I have one day without cleaning up the room さらに表示

Despite being a small hospitality establishment, the hotel is fully dedicated to make every guest feel at home. Staff are polite and helpful even though they are not very conversant in english. It is about 5min walk away from the Otaru JR Station, easy to find. Staffs were very kind. They paid attention to every little detail, from the building decorations, welcome drinks, room amenities, public bath, lounge area to breakfast. The hotel is just next to the Otaru famous travel spot - the . Otaru is a small place with concentrated tourist spot and the shopping area. The hotel is located from one end, so it is quite convenience to travel from one to another. Basic charge for hot sping, but it is the most special one we have tired in Hokkaido. The breakfast was amazing with the perfect sun light thought the window. The decoration of the hotel is cozy and warm. Overall, we enjoy the stay in the hotel! さらに表示

The Agoda customer service was AWFUL! I knew to not expect breakfast because my confirmation said that breakfast was not included. However, that same confirmation did not say "DInner not included"!! This generated a rude shock upon check in. Before I left home for Japan, I tried to make a reservation for the private bath, and did not get ANY response from AGODA. When I checked in my choice was 1700 or 2400!! I will not again book through Agoda. さらに表示

Very Japanese style hotel with hot spring bath. Very cosy and comfortable. Excellent dinner and breakfast. The view from our hotel room showed the canal in summer and it was just like a beautiful picture. さらに表示
