This little gem of a house right in the middle of historic Higashiyama was truly an amazing find. I wondered why it had so little reviews and now I know it’s because once the secret gets out people will have difficulty booking it again. The location is unbelievable the Famous Yasaka pagoda is right outside on your door step down the block is Ninen-Zaka and Sannen-Zaka and right around the corner is the famous kiyomizudera temple. During the day the area can be busy as everyone heads to the area but at night it is stunning as you have the entire place to yourself. We spent several mornings walking around and taking pictures of the neighborhood before the tourists came in. The 206 bus comes to the corner right down the street and you can be at Kyoto station in 10 minutes. The staff were so helpful as they helped organize a 6am taxi to take us out to arashiyama bamboo forest again to beat the crowds. supermarket and 711 in the area. We loved our stay - such a beautiful accommodation with comfort and quality - the beds were firm, the sheets good cotton and the feather quilts light and warm. Being able to walk 2 mins to great coffee and meals, and then 20mins walk to fantastic temples and gardens. さらに表示

Walking distance to the temples. A lot of sovenir shops nearby. Good facilities and have cooking utensils. Comfortable bath. It is a new hostel so all facilities are in good condition. Good accommodation for families and couples. But it is a bit hard to find and there is no convenience store nearby. Need to take a bus or walk for a long distance to buy food. さらに表示
