館内が清潔に管理されているので滞在しやすいです。キッチンも使えるので長期滞在にも向いていると思います。スタッフの方々も親切。

西成というディープな場所の真ん中にありますが、それを補って余りあるほどのコストパフォーマンスでした。

Listen, I have to put it out there. This is a great hostel and I enjoyed my stay, but it's not a" good" neighborhood in the sense that you're surrounded by drunk homeless people. Now it's portant to stress that we are talking about Japanese drunk homeless people, that are very very nice, never bag you for money, and love to converse with you in a pleasant manner. This is one of the most unique environments in Japan, and if you're looking for a great experience, I would whole heartdly recommend it. It has tons of character and local color that as a tourist you don'tusually get. Several of my friends stayed here and we all loved it. Hostel is clean and the facilities are good, staff is friendly, some guests may be a bit cooky but not in any threatening way and I always felt I and my property were safe.
As I said, how much you'll like the place really depands on your character. For me it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'm grateful, and if I ever get to.Osaka.again I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. さらに表示

I honestly enjoyed, I paid less than U$10 for 1 night... is a bargain considering that is very close to Shinsekai.
Bunk bed dormitory room, the entire building and facility looks like new and overall my stay wasn't bad.
But no perfect place exists, this is no exception.
Few things need be improved:
- The WiFi speed is ridiculously slow.
- Washlet toilets NEED be adopted. Is a must, is absurd that on the winter the seat is cold. The crushing majority of hotels and hostels in Japan have Washlets and here couldn't be a exception.
- The toilet paper is too CHEAP. I never used a cheap paper like that. If the owners don't want adopt Washlet, having the "decent quality" toilet paper is the minimum that we could expect.
- We are on the middle of the new corona virus era, and alcohol or any hand cleaning spray product should be provided because the floor doors and toilet doors are not automatic. You need turn the knob manually and we know not everybody wash the hands properly. (foreigner or local)

I have nothing to complaint here except, I hope there is women showers at least in Women Dorm or for which women only. No male. Because not all women are familiar with sharing showers. Especially for reason of their religion.
Other..i love the location. Been here so many times in Osaka. And Shin Imamiya is the best location so far. Easier to navigate to airport as well. Love the kitchen area/communal area is big enough. Wifi was fast. There is laundry area. But the dorms dont really hv place to put big luggage if its full. さらに表示
