Really NOT recommend this hotel The hotel is nearby Kintetsu Ugata station (近铁鹈方站)，10 minutes by car. This hotel can provide free shuttle bus (no fix time, need to call to align the time). Reasons for NOT recommend: 1. Only the boss can speak English but not well. After checking with Agoda, client service staff advised that we can call the hotel directly to align the pick up time. We called the hotel several times 45 mins before arrival but no one can speak English. Finally the boss called us back 15mins before our arrival and we confirmed our arrival time at Ugata station is five past four (4:05pm) . After waiting at the station for nearly 20mins, I decided to check with hotel again. And the boss feel surprised that we have already arrived (I guess he may hear the time as five rather than five past four...). And then he told us he will drive to here now, just wait for around 10 minutes. And it takes him another 20 mins to arrive at the station. And there is another guest in the car shared that he lost things in another station, and we need to go there together and then back to hotel... It takes us 90 mins to wait the car, wait for the other guest to pick up lost things and then go to the hotel. It is not fair to waste guests’ time for so long. 2. The boss is not hospitable. We (I and my older parents) took two big luggages. Not like other Japanese onsen hotel, the boss just sit in the driver seat, did not come down and never tried to help to pick up the luggage even after we arrived at the hotel. Unfortunately, we are arranged to live on the second floor with a very steep ladder and no one helped us. Before checking out, we strongly requested their help and then the boss sent two girls to take our luggages down... 3. The dishes is just so so. Fairly speaking, the dishes served in this hotel can not compare with other onsen hotels I lived with similar or even lower price. Not deserve the price charged. Good part: 1. Although hotel location is quite difficult to go by ourselves but hotel provides shuttle bus , just let them know your arrival time and they will come to pick up at ugata station. I love this hotel very much !! I would give full score for hospitality and atmosphere. It is perfect for real relaxation and retreat. Room is just next to lake and you can find local activities there , having breakfast with great view , nothing can beat this !! I would for sure come back here again in the future. We have been in Japan often and This is the best half board onsen hotel we had. Location near supermarket, outdoor onsen view was great, especially in the morning. Food was excellent, we stayed for 2 nights had different types of JAPANESE food, the second day was BBQ. Too much food with good quality. There is massage chair in the onsen lobby which you can use after hot springs which was thoughtful. One disadvantage which I have to say will be there are around 3 mins road to the hotel which is very narrow, need to drive carefully. Otherwise it’s the best hotel and good value for money. さらに表示

This is definitely a ryokan/hotel to use if you are looking for a place to stay in Shima/Ago Bay area. The place is genuine, wonderfully located by the sea/bay, offers great views, great food, wooden onsen tubs (indoor and outdoor) and a great relaxing area for reflection, table tennis and social networking ... Definitely a place to recommend ... and a top experience during our close to 5 years in Japan. さらに表示

I have been to quite a number of onsen hotels n this two days one night is my top three. I will visit this lovely place again. They arranged the best room for us! View was sensational. Took a boat trip which was surprisingly pleasant. Sunset was stunningly beautiful. Service was excellent. Food was fresh n beautifully presented. The gentleman who took care of us spoke fluent English. On our way to the train station, he took us to a hill n showed us the wonderful panoramic view of the entire area. My heartiest gratitude to the hotel family! Would love to meet you again real soon. さらに表示

It was a nice experience of being able to do Onsen by the bay. A little out of town area if we did not do self driving. Understand that there is a shuttle to nearby town or train station. Need to check out further. Some local restaurants serve the famous Matsusaka beef. We went to one abt 8 km away from the Onsen hotel. Thumbs up. さらに表示

Excellent It's one of those gems that you despair of discovering but here you find a traditional inn with warm hospitality spacious rooms and an outstanding bath. 以平民的价格享受绝世美景温泉。整个旅馆以桧木建造显得非常有特色，座落在英虞湾畔，早晨的景色美得不得了，加上盛开的樱花更是动人。早晚餐内容丰富可口，是我们在日本吃到最好的美味。旅馆整个环境清洁度很好，只是房间和温泉池略显陈旧。餐饮服务非常到位，但接送方面有点不足，入住前一周已经跟旅馆确认在车站迎接我们的时间和地点，但我们到达时旅馆方面的车并未出现，后来经电话催促，等待二十分钟后才把我们接走。 さらに表示

金泽坐bus过来在总曲轮下车即可，不用坐到火车站。酒店二楼天然温泉，房间内也有小的温泉浴缸。房间是温馨的日式房间，非常干净，整洁。满分！下次还来！ さらに表示
