Quiet, clean, peaceful, just a couple of minutes walk up from the main street in Kurokawa, but that's a benefit. Also on a nice walking trail out of town. Food was wonderful, staff friendly and helpful. English was minimal, Korean was good, but in any case you'll muddle through. My only problem with Kurokawa in general is there seems to be no place selling decent coffee. Otherwise it's heaven. さらに表示

The place is so close to nature. The entrance is steep single lane, be careful when driving. The ryokan is clean and peaceful. Onsen is excellent. Breakfast & dinner were impressive. さらに表示

Although the staff spoke limited English , they were very accommodating and helpful to us. The ryokan also has its own onsen which I recommend for first time onsenhoppers. After checking out they also offered a shuttle service for us to take to the bus stop which was very convenient. さらに表示

the ryokan is not really in the center of Kurokawa but it's easy and closed to by walking the food was amazing the room is perfect and very large i will come back さらに表示

It was a bit far from the kurokawa bus stop if you have to walk with luggage. Make sure you ask for pick up and drop off shuttle service. The outdoor onsen do not have a bath section, must do it in the in door onsen, found it difficult when you need to walk out in the cooling weather. Location is not favourable as it is a bit off from sightseeing spot and we have a rough time for getting to the hotel as it needs to pass through a steep slope. Suggest you to book their free pick up service beforehand. さらに表示

We have to walk uphill a bit to this hotel, though not to far and manageable, and the hotel also offers free shuttle service to the main bus stop, so ok. Better to communicate with the hotel directly as I communicate via the Agoda, the hotel said they don’t get the confirmation from Agoda about the additional dinner I ordered for my kid and thus they cannot arrange and my kid had to share with me. There are lots of Ryokans in Kurokawa Onsen area and Ryokan Ichinio is right up the hill of the town, just 5mins you can reach the small town and another 5mins to the Kyushu Odan bus stop. The offer free shuttle service while guests must inform them about the arrival and departure time beforehand. The staff, front desk, restaurant or even the driver were super nice and friendly, I’ve never expected someone would take my bags to my room, had rooming service, so customer oriented dining service, taking you up the hill to see the fabulous mountain Aso. The room was huge, it could fit up to 3ppl. The way to the outdoor onsen was a long way but I felt do relaxed when I was surrounded by the mother nature. The portion of dinner and breakfast was huge that it filled up my stomach all day! I will stay at Ryokan Ichinio again if I pay a visit at Kurokawa Onsen. さらに表示

It was pretty comfortable stay but the only negative thing was, i felt like the staffs are quite ignorant towards foreigners. We came for dinner and the staffs were explaining the menus from kaiseki (dinner), but they didnt explain to us. There were other bits as well but I felt like, here is everything, just eat. Also, there was a time where a japanese tourist bumped into side of our dinner table and the table moved quite a bit while we were eating but the staffs did not even see or ask us if we were okay but just asked the japanese tourist if she is okay. I understand that the staff asked the japanese tourist if she is okay, but i think the staff should have acknowledged us as it effected our dinner table when we were eating. さらに表示

有車站接送車的服務，提前跟民宿預約就可以。 位置偏離主要街道，但環境優美舒服，有會說中文的服務人員。晚餐可以嘗到馬肉刺身。 露天溫泉水有點不夠熱，晚上出去泡有點冷。整體體驗還是不錯。 さらに表示
