辰野金吾の建物に泊まれます！ 建物好きにはよだれ物の旅館です ご飯は、わたしが肉嫌いなので、それに対応する為、一番安いのを頼みましたが、豪華めを頼んだ方が満足できます。 朝ごはんの豆腐がトロトロで美味しかったです。 お部屋は掃除が行き届いてますし、温泉の脱衣所も綺麗でした。 今後あったら嬉しいサービスは、個人的にはヘアアイロンの貸し出しです(・∀・) 6月にはホタルが見れるとのことで、裏の沢に案内してもらいました。 雨上がりだったのですが、4〜5匹ほど見る事ができて、とってもロマンチックでした。 全体的には大満足でした！ さらに表示

Easy to arrive from Namba. Property is really Japanese style and well-maintained. Public bath is not as big as I'd expected. Staffs are super nice and speak English. Unfortunately we had a noisy upstair group guest that keep making noise till late night. The wall and floor is kind thin and you can easily hear voices from different places. Other than the noise everything's perfect. Dinner and breakfast are all in Japanese style and delicious! さらに表示

The only problem is the railway, constant sound can annoy some people. Bring ear plugs or headphones or learn meditatation to put up with it:). Other than that you are getting a quality Ryokan for a fraction of the price. It's in a sleepy quiet charming town of Amami, so you can really see the real Japanese outer semi rural life out there. There are some sparsely marked not well travelled hiking trails which can be an adventure, got lost a couple times, easy to find your way out, but fun, just bring a stick to get rid of the giant spider webs with giant spiders (harmless). Seeing another world of japanese rural life (me being non Japanese). a lovely night stayover onroute back from the famous 1000year old pilgrimage day hike. さらに表示

Previous stay was 2 years ago when the Ryokan had 100th Birthday :) Everything was the same, but stayed in room opposite to previous trip. Had breakfast/dinner sets. Wasn't busy so only noise was from passing trains due to Amami Station being 100 metres away. Will be back さらに表示

The location is quite good which is exactly near the train station of Amami. The service of staff is great and staff gave us a warm welcome greeting. They can speak fluent English. The On-sen there is indoor and really relaxing. But it is a bit fussy for sharing the common toilet. さらに表示

The hotel has nice scenario, especially the garden. The staffs are friendly, attentive and helpful. The food served in the hotel is very delicious but it is very expensive. It has Japanese traditional culture experience there. さらに表示

The ryokan is right next to station (very easy to find as they had placed signs guiding you as soon as you leave the station). We were warmly welcomed and our suitcases were taken to our room and we were greeted with a warm towel and yummy Japanese snacks in our room. The rooms were beautiful (with great view) and very clean. The dinners at the ryokan was one of the highlights of our stay. Each dish was brought to our room by their friendly staff. Our futon beds were also neatly prepared for us when we returned from our onsen after dinner. Their breakfast was also very delicious. The Ryokan is well located with a small rail station one minute away. The area is quiet and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. It is ideal for a one night stay only 60 kms from Osaka. さらに表示

We feel really lucky to stay here. Room was really beautiful, and it was awesome to sleep listening to sound of water from a river and frogs. We opened windows with insect nets and could look down at the garden. Everywhere was clean, and water of bath(sento) was nicely hot. A big bath tub was really clean. Building itself has a long history but is well maintained. Staff were very polite with lots of smile. Definitely we will go back to Nanten En Inn. The problem is Nanten En Inn has increased our expectations for Ryokan so much that it will be difficult for us to be satisfied with other Ryokans. It was pleasure to have stayed at Nan Ten En inn. Location was close to Osaka. Its eye pleasing garden is another plus point. さらに表示

I googled so many Ryokans but none were available or too pricey. Then I came across this one which was so perfect, it's just right. Not too pricey but very cultural for my family. I recommend everybody to stay in this lovely place. さらに表示

Checked in a little bit late at night and the manager was very welcoming with tea and little sweets for you to have, very thorough explanation of the facilities of the room and the yukata?( the jap style rope) help me to check my way to get to the airport by 9 am and leave my shoes out ready the next morning when I leave the hotel さらに表示

In overall is good if for the short trip and relax in the hotel, this hotel is good for experiences the Japanese styles with traditional bed and bedroom. You will not have the in room bath room or toilet which it will be sharing and also it have a small hot spring water in the hotel. The Ryokan was amazing and very beautiful. It is highly recommended for people who want to get away from the big city for a night or two with its onsen, which has a view of a river and mother nature. The rooms were gorgeous as well and so were the gardens within the Ryokan compound. The staff were friendly and thoughtful and made our short stay there very comfortable and memorable. さらに表示

My stay was wonderful and I booked a night on my departure from Japan - I liked it so much! The spa is lovely and it was really good value for money. My only problem was getting to the place, as the people at the airport told me the wrong train station. Thankfully I got chatting to people on the way and they redirected me but perhaps instructions in English for the train journey will be good x さらに表示
