湯畑やコンビニからとても近く、ロケーションはかなり良いです。食事は特筆するほどではありませんが普通に美味しいです。個室なので落ち着きます。 しかし温泉は本当に素晴らしい。ずっと入っていたくなる湯加減でした。夜に男女の浴室が入れ替わるのですが、可能な限りどちらも行くべきです。貸切風呂を含め、露天風呂は外から見えていそうなスポットがチラホラあったのが少し気になりました。 部屋によっては3階まで階段を上らないといけないので、お年寄りの方には少し辛いかもしれません。スタッフのみなさんは親切な方ばかりでした。また草津に訪れる際は、是非もう一度泊まりたいです。 さらに表示

Hotel is a bit below my expectation given the high price in the area. Hotel is an old traditional one which is quite nice. Staff service is good. Room is not particularly impressive. Dining for the first night was quite disappointing. Second night was good. Onsen is good though small. I understand that special request was not guaranteed but the request of not the first or last room should be easily accommodated as guests usually stay for one night but we were allocated to the last room of the floor さらに表示

It's our first time to be in Kusatsu and we enjoyed it very much, mostly because of Naraya. Staff was very friendly and always willing to help us out. Room was clean and neat. The onsen was not crowded even it was New Year. We also got to see the "Mochitsuki" which is a new year tradition there. さらに表示

Very convenient location. Hotsprings and food were great. Staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Clean traditional Japanese rooms. Most importantly, I loved the heritage of the ryokan.. Free shuttle bus from JR bus station. With attentive staff who did double check if we have the correct booking of JR ticket to other place next day. Very clean hotel you no need to worry about the hygiene even in barefoot stepping on floor. さらに表示

Have been to so many luxury Ryokans. Staffs are polite but lack of warm hospitality. A bit Cold. Food wise is disappointing. With the price tag and form my experiences. They have less variety of food, welcome food is just a pack of cookies. For the Private Onsen room is a huge disappointment, the light full of black molds, the room is very dark. No welcome snacks or tea, Just water in the room. you can stay for 45 mins but we stayed around 15 mins and left, it feels dirty and not comfort to stay for any longer. I won't recommend anyone who has been to another luxury Ryokans before. This is way overpriced for what they deliver. I hardly leave any review. さらに表示

The staff went out of their way to be helpful even with the language barrier. The breakfast and dinner were beautifully presented, delicious and such big portions we couldn't finish. The ryokan is in an ideal location. There are a choice of Onsen baths, private/public/ indoor/outdoor/ wood or ceramic etc. would not hesitate to recommend. さらに表示

At the best location in Kusatsu right next to Yubatake, Naraya is a well established ryokan of history. Despite the age, facilities are all kept in very good conditions. I appreciate in particular the onsen which feels even better to me than those fee-charging ones around Kusatsu. Dinner was excellent. My room was decorated with a theme, spacious and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly. I recommend Naraya to all wishing to have a nice stay in Kusatsu. さらに表示
