Apart from the breakfast which was served a bit too early, we had a great time at Gonzaemon ryokan. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the town and close to other onsens. Room is spacious and clean. Dinner was more than generous. Staff was always polite. The ryokan also has its own onsen so it’s very convenient for late night bathing. We highly recommend Gonzaemon ryokan to future guests! さらに表示

Ryokan is located by the canal but not easily located as all the shops look identical in the dark. We missed the car park and ryokan three times. The car park is right before the ryokan but the signs weren't bright enough so we circled around the place (it was a one way street so it was really in circles) until a staff came running out. Once the staff was out, he was very friendly and guided our car to the car park. Although the staff was not proficient in English, they tried their best to understand our request for matsuba crabs for dinner. The dinner in the room was one of the best we had for this trip. When we saw where we were the next morning, it was so beautiful..the canal and the trees formed a tranquil picture ...like a Japanese landscape painting. The ryokan is located near a Family Mart, souvenir shops, public baths and delicious duck soba shop! Very good location and very friendly people. さらに表示

This is a beautiful ryokan with amazing staff and a wonderful communal onsen. We got a room with a private onsen and it was worth every penny. Dinner and breakfast come with the room and were a great adventure, but I recommend keeping an open mind and trying everything once, even if you think you won't like it. It consists of a lot of fish and crab (if you go during crabbing season, like we did). Wear your yukata! My only real complaint was the house slippers just didn't fit and were very hard to walk in. But, you only wear them from the door to your room, then upstairs to the dining room, so it's not a big deal. Be prepared to sleep on a futon on tatami. The futon mattresses are very thin, but there were plenty of extras in our closet to stack up. The staff even noted that we added an extra one and did the same when they made up the bed the next night. We will definitely stay there again when we come back. 強くお勧めします さらに表示

The food was absolutely stunning and generous in portion. We had both breakfast and dinner served Japanese style in our room. The staff were particularly helpful. The entire premises were spotlessly clean. This was my fourth visit to Japan and my stay here was by far the best yet, さらに表示

The location is right in middle of the town, within 30 meters of 3 public onsen (other 4 are a little further out, but all within 5 min walk). The services are exceptional, from the reception to the dinner services, wouldn't ask for any improvement. 後來發現真的不用訂可以泡澡的房間，泡外湯就好了，浴缸髒髒的，房間有點味道。服務人員很好，而且有車站接送服務，這點很棒。一泊二食餐點不能換，所以吃素的人請不要訂這家會後悔，當然如果吃葷提供的會席料理看起來很不錯。 さらに表示

服務員好細心，由停車場沿路將行李幫我們放到房間，不用我們幫手！講解餐飲時間、地點及設備都非常詳盡！早餐、晚餐都很豐富。因為我們訂了兩晚住宿，他們都會準備不同的菜式，不會重複，這點值得讃賞。房間很寬躺，浸温泉地方雖然不大，但來這裡都是試不同的外湯，所以這點都不是大問題。總括這間溫泉旅館值得再来和推介！ さらに表示
