Extremely friendly and helpful staff, if you are visiting Hakuba for skiing/snowboarding, you can actually not need to plan anything if u choose this hostel. Free ride to rent gears upon arrival, every morning staff will suggest best choice of ski resort for you, and will take guests go and back with gears, only to do is sit tight and enjoy the very fresh slope of the day. Staff will even help and take you to train or bus station when you leave. Tidy common area, cozy bed, clean bathrooms. It's a pity the one guest room do not have a window to the outside but you can enjoy the snowing through the full height glazing in the living room . Perfect kitchen to cook anything, store is pretty far but you can always get something on the ride back to hostel. I lost my passport in the ski resort and the staff helped to find it, which is unbelievable and amazing. It was a worthy stay. さらに表示

What the rest of the travellers said were true. Staff were amazing and made sure we had the best time possible for our stay, including driving us to where we needed to go. The delicious self catering breakfast, the snowy view from our wonderful bedroom, the clean bathrooms, superb! The one criticism about the hospitality is that we weren't allowed to shower before our night bus. Other ski hotels we've used in Japan have all allowed us to use the shower even after checkout, before getting on the bus back home. I had the feeling they just wanted rid of us ASAP after checkout. Also the dry room was ineffective. Our boots and gloves were both wet and cold the next day. The ventilation in there needs to be improved. さらに表示

Loved the rooms, bathrooms, and our hosts Janna and Viktor! They shuttled us to the mountains in the morning and to the grocery store/7-11 in the evenings. Another bonus is that they have a shared kitchen that you can use to prepare meals when you're sick of eating out. It was nice to have access to a laundry machine as well. The staff were amazing! so helpful and friendly. They can give you great advice about what ski resorts are the best on the day, based on the weather. I am most definitely going to stay here the next time I come to Hakuba. Being shuttled to and from the mountains each day is literally the best, never have to worry about bus times and carrying gear on packed buses. Overall, there is a friendly and sociable vibe at this accommodation when you want to meet other travelers. Once again, staff are amazing and cool! - Kris さらに表示

Geoff (owner) easy going, friendly Aussie with an awesome team, Viktor and Jana. Nothing is too much trouble, all super friendly and helpful. Happily, help booking things, driving you there and back. Well maintained, kept spotlessly clean. Western tiled bathrooms spacious and warm. Western beds, the rooms are warm, you won’t be cold. The kitchen is communal; it can get a bit busy in the morning if everyone is going skiing but works fine enough. The supplied breakfast ingredients are generous and allows you to make yourself a good hearty breakfast, just the thing to fuel up for a big day on the slopes. There is a large common lounge with a dining table and lounge chairs, a large screen TV with Netflix (great if you want or need a day off). Geoff has an awesome collection of vinyl records a top quality turntable and you may well get to hear something new or classic. Laundry facilities are also great, again everything is supplied. If you are looking to ski Hakuba, look to stay here. さらに表示
