施設は一時代前のものですが、完璧にメンテされていて、不便さは感じませんでした。 ホテルの方の対応も抜群で、夜遅くの到着に対しても親身に対応してくださいました。 さらにホテルから見える島原城は最高でした。 あと、駅からも近く、コストパフォーマンスも良かったです。 さらに表示

島原鉄道の島原駅～島原外港駅あたりでリースナブルなホテルを探し、この島原ステーションホテルを予約いたしました。島原駅より徒歩7～8分、またはバス停・大手より徒歩1～2分で、島原城にも歩いてすぐの立地です。 ホテルとしては少々古い施設ですが、部屋にはエアコン、テレビ（BSは見られず）、ウォシュレット付トイレ、バスタブなど一通り備わっており、不自由なく滞在できました。 素泊まりで予約しましたが、朝食も欲しくなったのでチェックイン時に追加いたしました（800円）。こぢんまりとしたビッフェ形式ですが、和洋とも（特に和食）何種類もの料理があり、期待を裏切り？大変満足いたしました。 館内に温泉などの大浴場はありませんが、近所の温泉「ゆとろぎの湯」の割引券をフロントで扱っていました（520→310円）。 一人旅だったので、滞在が不快にならない程度で宿泊費が安いホテルを求めていましたが、それにピッタリと合致し泊まって良かったです。 さらに表示

This is a great place to stay if you wish to explore Shimabara and the castle. It is very close to the castle, restaurants and shopping arcade. Parking is possible at a nearby parking spot. The room was very large. さらに表示

Had a room on the 6th floor overlooking Shimabara Castle. Room somewhat cramped but not unexpected for a business hotel. Pleasantly surprised by the variety of excellent choice at the help yourself breakfast. Short walk from the station, but not obvious when you arrive. さらに表示

Nice , friendly staff. We had a beautiful view from the room, we could see the castle from the room. Shimabara is a nice little town. Hotel is close to the train station. The Family mart is downstrairs. さらに表示

Due to very heavy rainstorm, we had to cancel all plan in Nagasaki and headed to Shimabara earlier. We arrived the hotel under strong wind and rain 2 hours before check-in time but the staff allowed us to have early check-in without charge. Our room were on the top floor and we could see the clear view of Shimabara Castle when the weather became clear at night. A foot and leg massager was also equipped in our room (I think not all rooms have the massager, anyway). We could also wash and dry our wet clothes by free washing machine & dryer. Pros: - Spacious room. Room with castle view may be offered if available - Free welcome drink - Free usage of washing machine and dryer - Very helpful staff - A convenient store locates just next to the hotel Cons: - The room had cigarette smell, but still acceptable. - A part of the room floor was slightly sticky, it is recommended to wear the provided slipper. Comments: - The optional Japanese breakfast cost has already increased from 500 to 700 Yen, starting from 1 April 2016. - Car park is not free. Guests have to pay 500 Yen/car/night. Great location in a very walkable town!!! So much to see and lots of interesting local specialties to try in walking distance! Breakfast buffet provided a wide selection of food for Japanese and western tastes. Hotel is older but well maintained and very clean. Room was larger by Japanese standards. The building and facilities were great. One thing stuck out though, I asked one staff where I could find the local soumen, which was a shimabara specialty and she only pointed me to the general arcade area. It would be great if she could recommend a specific shop. I was told there were a lot of shops there for food but it was largely closed for lunch when I got there. The hotel was quite a walk from the station, particularly in the dark. The room was quite small but clean with a nice view of the nearby castle. The trip along the coastal peninsula was scenic but longer than we anticipated. さらに表示

The location is very near train station and bus stop to Unzen. Staffs can't speak English well but manageable when asking for directions to places of with a map. Staffs are very courteous and helpfu. We were given the top floor corner unit with a fabulous view of Shimabara castle and the sea. さらに表示

Overall I was quite pleased with the hotel. They kept my bag until check-in time while I walked around the city sightseeing. The room was clean and did not smell too bad with smoke (I am a non-smoker but this smoking room was the only thing available at a cheap price). My room had a mini-fridge which was useful along with a hot water pot. Depending on the room you will have a great view of the Shimabara Castle - especially at night when it is lit up. It is 5 min walk to the train station and 1 min to a convenience store. A supermarket is at least 10-15 minutes away. My only issue is the WiFi is basically non-existent. I could connect but it would quickly drop the connection. さらに表示
