The location is easy to find. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were filling. But I have to say, the best part was the private onsen. I definitely recommend this place to you if you want to enjoy a large size private onsen in your room. さらに表示
The staff were ok but the facilities is old , the room walls were moldy and there were mosquitoes. The private in-room onsen temp were centralised control ( so if there is any issue , one would have to call the receptionist to adjust the temp of the onsen , and the staff can't speak english. ) さらに表示

The location of the hotel is directly outside of the bus station of Shinanoki, Highland Hotel. It’s the exact bus line to Togendai for the pirate ship and Rope way. The room is equipped with private onsen. The setting of the room is good and clean. The dinner and breakfast was excellent and big portion. Highly recommended hotel. さらに表示

We had enjoyed immensely in the resort with our own private hot spring.
However, we had a small hiccups with the staff. We are late for about 8 mins on baggage check-in (Transfer of baggage to train station), the staff refuse to assist us to put our baggage in their counter. When we finally decided to leave our baggage at the hotel temporary and left the hotel about 10.25am, we saw the baggage collection van to the train station drive into hotel to collect the guest baggages. We are unhappy about the staff flexibility on this case.

The room is beautiful , the tub in the room was great.
The meal was great on the first day but not the second.
Overall very good.
Btw, the hotel is affiliated with the baggage storage/delivery shop at Hakone Yumoto Station where they can help deliver the luggage to the hotel for a fee. さらに表示

loved our stay here - everything felt really luxurious, and it was definitely worth it to pay to have our own private onsen. the location was also great as it was really close to the bus stop and easy to get to everything in the Hakone area. I loved this place and highly recommend it. I do think they could invest in staff training a little bit to help visitors feel more comfortable during the stay. さらに表示

Stay was great overall. Staff were helpful and were very conversant in English, especially in giving us directions to the Little Prince Museum, which was a couple of bus stops away. The Venetian Glass Museum was walking distance. The place was near a bus stop, and having the Hakone pass really helped a lot. The private onsen was really nice! Food-wise, it was just average; some of the entries were nice though, e.g, fish tempura and the appetizers. さらに表示

There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, making it convenient to travel around especially if you have hakone pass. The room is fairly big, with a coffee table where you can slip your legs in and turn on the heater under the table. Our rooms have a private onsen which is really nice. They provide toiletries and also very nice tea bags for your use in the room. We book our room with dinner and breakfast. I recommend it as it might be hard to find dinner around here. The food is nice and tasty, but if you don't know what you are doing, the staff is very willing to help. Check in is strictly 3pm, even though we were there around 2ish. さらに表示

Enjoyed our stay very much. The room is very nice with a tatami sitting area that even enable you to sit like a regular chair (with a "hole" for your legs). Very nice as clean resort feel and it's convenient to major attractions. Please do visit the Japanese Tampas grass (ask the hotel for directions) if you like greenery and a bit of a walk up a nice "grass land". さらに表示

excellent! staff are providing good services. The price of two meals are reasonable and delicious. We will be visit next time. Highly recommended. But the price during the peak season are little bit expensive! The hotel is located next to bus stop, it is easy to reach and find it. Great first experiences trying out the onsen. However, first timers like us should be warned of not dipping in the onsen for too long as we are unaware that it could bring several side effects such as dehydration and dizziness.
In overall, the ambience, dining experience and the rest of the stay was fabulous and relaxing. It was a great getaway from the city life and I would highly recommend this hotel to others. さらに表示
Didn’t receive warm welcome (as compared to other accommodations of our trip), but the restaurant canteen staff were nice and polite.
The food was soso, with the price we paid for, I think they could provide better food. Review for the room - the open air bath is quite small, may not fit 2 adults comfortably, the shower area is beside the hot spring which is outdoor, there wasn’t indoor shower available. Damn cold.
We travelled down from another part and arrived at about 7pm at night and had to check out at 10am which made it unworthy. So guys do take note of this and plan the time well. Overall i feel it’s overpriced, it could be because we traveled in Dec peak period. さらに表示

Lovely place! Really good environment for private hot spring. Function of public hot spring seems better than private one. The environment for open public hot spring is good at night with moonlight and steam just like stay in fairytale. I went to the public one at around 11pm and there's no one there which can enjoy the whole environment by myself. Fair dinner, excellent breakfast. Wish to visit again! さらに表示
