The place was nice coz it was near a bus stop and about 10minites walk from the station. My problem was I arrived 7am at the hostel. But I needed to wait outside the door until 10am when the staff arrived. I even put early check in in my reservation. I hope they will send an email to guests regarding the ETA. Its okay not to check in yet, but I hope they will have a facility to keep the luggage or stay at the lounge for early arrivals. さらに表示

Very good place to stay in Kyoto. Kiyomizu-dera is in a walk distance from the hotel. Bus stop is across the street. The walls between rooms are thin partitions, so you actually can hear the conversations next door. さらに表示

It is a good place for the money with a convenient location, small but clean and with friendly staff. The only inconvenience is that the walls between rooms are too thin with no isolation, so any minor noise or even conversation will be heard. さらに表示

Our stay was as easy as could be. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, clean shower and towels. The staff went above and beyond to give us information about Kyoto and provide directions for places we wanted to go. I would absolutely stay here again! さらに表示

I stayed here for 2 nights. Convenience store a few yards away and pretty well located for the sights. A large museum is close by. The lady on the reception was excellent and there is plenty of information available. The WiFi was good and the beds comfortable. A good choice and very well priced. Stayed here for a bargain price. Booked a private room and ended up getting a room for four all to myself, which meant loads of space. It's in a convenient location and the guy running it (never caught his name) was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend! さらに表示

As far as we could see it was just one man that stayed and ran the place and he was great- friendly, helpful, generous and good English. We were upgraded from the room we booked to the first floor (including a sitting area) which we had to ourselves as no one else was staying there. Short walk to Gion corner would recommend seeing a geisha show there. The hotel was central to everything 10 min taxi to Kyoto station or an easy enough walk. Would stay here again. さらに表示
