4歳の子どもを連れて利用させて頂きました。昔からある古い木造建物のなので、清潔か？と言われると難しいかと思いますが、大変立派な温泉宿です。古い趣がある感じが私は好きでした。 多くの神さまの石像をお風呂に入浴しながら拝見できます。大自然の偉大さへの畏敬の念が形になってあらわれ出たのだと感じました。石像に、私の子どもは少し怖がっていましたが、大きな温泉に大満足していました。混浴ゾーンを含めると、私が今までの人生で入った温泉の中で一番大きいと思います。 外国からいらしたお客様が沢山来られていて、日本流のリラックスを楽しんでいました。バイキングのお料理はどれも美味しく、バリエーションが豊富なので、海外のお客様のために好みに合わせて食べられる配慮がされているように思いました。 さらに表示

外国人にも優しい。スタッフのおばちゃん達がとても優しくてフレンドリー。 外国人がたくさんいたけど、部屋もお風呂も食事処も静かでよかった。 シャトルバスが1日2便しかないのが行くのも帰るのも不便。 温泉は温度調整で水を入れてるので調整が難しいらしく、ぬるかったり熱かったり。 露天風呂は、髪の毛や落ち葉が入って清潔とは言えない。 お部屋もかなり年季入ってる。 ドライヤーは内風呂に1台しかないので、必ず持って行った方が良い。 さらに表示

11月後半「Japanese Style East/Main Building with Half Board」 に宿泊しました。 ホテルの雰囲気は山に囲まれた古い旅館っと言った感じ。部屋も良くある古い和式の部屋です。建物自体が古いせいか廊下は寒く感じました（部屋は暖かい）。 温泉は館内風呂と露天風呂がある。 館内の風呂は広くは無いが温泉の温度が高目なので冷えた体を温めるには良い温泉です。露天風呂は館内から浴衣を着て、少し歩いて移動するので、冬の時期には寒くて（高齢の方には）寒さが応えるのではないかと思います。温泉が広い分、隅の方へ行くとお湯が冷えていて、体も暖まらない。しかし、入り口付近に源泉が出ている箇所があるので、そこで体を温めてから外にでればポカポカ気持ちが良い。11月の後半とはいえ、紅葉も残っていたので景色は最高に良かったです。また来るならもう少し暖かい時期が良いかもしれませんね。 さらに表示

チェックイン時にトランクをスタッフの方が引き取ってくれたが、いつまでたっても部屋に持ってきてくれないのでリセプションに戻るとトランクをリセプションに置きっぱなし。部屋に行ってもおしぼりが置いていない。1月で外は雪なのに部屋のヒーターが古すぎて部屋が寒い。食事は日本食に好き嫌いがある外国人もいるのか、和洋食のバイキング。露天風呂は素敵でしたが、ほとんどの人が内風呂で体を洗わずそのまま露天風呂にぽっちゃん。内風呂はいつも誰もいなくガラガラです。朝も朝食が終わった後にそのまま露天風呂。風景を楽しむのにはいいと思いますが、たぶん二度と行かないと思います。 さらに表示

Wonderful experience at Takaragawa Onsen's rotenburo-s! The staff were all friendly and fluent in English, and for my early check-out, they gave me a lift to the bus-stop to catch the public bus to Minakami Stn. I would love to visit Takaragawa Onsen again for a longer stay. さらに表示

We had an old decrepit room, in the old wing. The woodwork in the room was infested with large stink beetles. These were 1.5 to 4 cm in length. When we first checked in, there were about 15 littered throughout the room. When we complained the hotel, said they will help remove it, but they essentially also said that it was a take-it or leave it coz they were full. And they won't refund us. Despite clearing the room the first time around. The bugs kept appearing. We can only guess there were a whole lot hidden in the ceilings. We counted about 4-6 an hour. We kept clearing the ones that appeared, but it wouldn't stop. I woke out to my wife screaming as one flew directly into her hair. And a few crawled into bed with us during the night. Whilst the hotsprings itself was beautiful, the infestation completely ruined what would have been a romantic weekend. What amazes me is that we paid about USD300 for a night, and it felt like we checked into a roach motel. Horrible! さらに表示

they served an average food for kaiseki dinner but terrible for buffets in the morning . iwent to many ryokans they dont do like this. i was the first queue for checking in but i got the last for room keys due to the lady explained so many unnecessary things(just like my first time in ryokan though i told her i had experience before) anyway room in specious but quite old (she said just renovated) i love to stay in old ryokan but i mean inside the room they can make it better than here(anyway cant compare because that places got 9.7,9.4scores) i went to many ryokan injapan (okuhida,niigata, sanjo,ginzan, zao) and i do really want to go back to that places but not for takaragawa due to that factor. the service is quite weird. they dont don’t do like other premium ryokan for the onsen 3 of 4 are mixed which is required u to put on a dress from resort。if u are onsen lover u will understand it s not. anyway i think it s too much mixed onsen. so i prefer to be naked so only 1onsen i canuse さらに表示

Takaragawa Onsen is one of my best onsen experience. The hot springs have scenic view with snow. Staffs are very friendly. Room is clean and comfortable. Recommend to everyone who need the onsen experience to try this place. さらに表示

Book this Ryokan for the outdoor onsens and the relative proximity to Tokyo, nothing else. The accomodation itself and food are basic (but yet comfortable enough) by Japanese standards (but very much acceptable in any case - just not the most high class luxurious Japanese Ryokans). Perfect for foreign first time Onsen visitors as can cover up in the baths etc. However the food was buffet style and was kind of pricy compared to other places foreigners don't know about. Staff also varied in Nationalities and although they explained the rules in multiple languages many people didn't shower before bathing etc. Seems to be popular for those who are here for a week or so. さらに表示

Overall was perfect but should’ve shuttle bus departure time later than 9.30am, too early to wake up, rush to have breakfast, pack stuffs and run to bus. Also hard to contact the front to book the shuttle bus from train station, staffs should be able to communicate in English. さらに表示

Pos - nice outdoor onzen along river view. - have bath cloth for male and female. So no shy to be naked. Con - old ryokan with lack of maintenance - room is dusty - disappoints with dinner buffet as with the room rate, should get kaiseki Dinner - Many many insects are in room even close the door and window - suggest to come here only onzen bath and sleep other place さらに表示

The pros of this hotel is it located near the waterfall with an outdoor onsen. The view is very impressive, and natural however the resort itself is quite old. The resort can redecorate though the owner may want to show how old it is. The sliding doors fall out easily and it fell down to my children 2 times. The front desk staff is impolite but the staff at the restaurant are very nice. Both breakfast and dinner is below than what I expected. Paying this price I can get better resort which has nice staff and good food. The resort is just good at outdoor onsen. If you want to come just one day trip or don’t expect to much about the room and the food. さらに表示

Easy to arrive but make sure you have booked a shuttle bus seat through their official website before you go. Supper is just standard level, or even lower. Not enough choices of food and not quite delicious. Big size room with gorgeous room service. It makes me consider to visit to here again. Fresh feelings for mixed-bath. But remember to respect the others and don’t be impolite. The temperature of onsen isn’t hot enough. I think it’s suitable for couples and married thus they can enjoy the onsen together. さらに表示
