We had an awesome experience at this residence. The house was beautiful and classy. It fulfilled our dream to stay in and experience this kind of old Japanese-style house. Mr. Kitano, the owner who is also a designer and antique collector, was very nice to meet with us on the first day and gave us a tour about this beautiful residence and answer our questions. The house is beautifully decorated. The location is good and not far from many of the famous attractions in Kyoto. The residence is in the residential district and it was a bit challenging for us to find at first, but once we found it, its location was good for us to go around in Kyoto and it was also quiet at night, and my parents and I love it. Bus stops are closer than the subway station but still in walking distance. Overall, it was an amazing and unforgettable experience in Kyoto. さらに表示

Beautifully restored two storey Japanese town house with three rooms and two toilets, one bath...impeccably maintained by the host Tatsuya. He met us at the station to pick up our bags, the fridge was stocked with beverages and he got cleaning done once every two days. He was extremely helpful and easy to contact on WhatsApp. The house has an authentic Japanese ambience like that of a Ryokan - wooden floors, tatami matted floor with floor bedding, sliding paper doors, but a home fitted with modern appliances. Pls note the home is 10 mins walking distance from the main road from where you can easily get cabs or a bus connection. Even getting cabs back in the night were easy, Tatsuya gave us a map to show the drivers. We took only cabs as they were more convenient and quite reasonable. But if you will be relying on buses or trains, this may not be a suitable location. Also, the stairs to the first floor are fairly steep so not suitable for small children or the elderly. さらに表示

This place was the fulfillment of my Japanese dreams. We tried this place out to experience something a bit different from the Hiltons and Hyatts we had been staying in and let me tell you it was perfection. Let me start with the ONLY potential downside of staying here.....It is tucked away in a residential neighborhood, which means a little walk at the beginning and end of your day, but we clocked it at about 7 minutes to the closest bus stop and we mastered the bus system by Day 2. (Buy a day pass for Y500!) Leaving on our last day we walked about 18min to the train station and it was all downhill and easy breezy. A charming and safe walk. The design of the home feels very classic Japan but was recently remodeled so everything is in new/pristine condition. Every detail has been meticulously planned and every amenity provided. Plenty of space to spread out. Since we've gotten home I've said multiple times how much I miss this house. When I win the lottery, I'm buying this place! さらに表示

房子在今熊野大道进去的半山腰，步行10分钟路程，离京都博物馆和八坂神社很近，步行距离，清水寺也在附近可以搭乘一站公交。 房屋是三层的日式房子，设施应有尽有，不管是硬件还是软件都非常棒，房东是一个日本人，英语交流顺畅，很热心，给我们准备了早餐和满满一冰箱的饮料。总之非常推荐。 Nice trip nice house さらに表示
