Nice, small, clean hotel with ski-in-out access. But they try to over charge for everything. Breakfast is so limited. Two of us ordered 1 of 4 choices each, coffee and orange juice. They charged us for one juice, saying the breakfast package only covers one juice for two people. They said they had private onsen so we booked it but they didn’t say it cost ¥28,000 per time. It wasn’t even private. It was the ladies onsen after closing hours. At Ki and Skye, it is free and really private. Won’t be going back. さらに表示

I stayed 4 days 3 nights at their 2 rooms apartment. First of all, the WiFi and water heater are not working. The WiFi was fixed the same day but they are only able to fixthe water heater on the day before we left. At least they tried to fix it. What I am not happy is that I received an email from the hotel accusing us on a missing Apple remote control and intend to charge my card for it. The email was full of accusation as if we stole it. Like we are the thieves. Why the hell we wanted to take the the remote control? My wife and I remember seeing the remote control before we left. I replied the email and requested them to check again in the room and they finally found it. I do not understand why they do not check properly before sending out such stressful email to their client. Such a bad bad experience and I wouldn't want to stay again there and won't advice others as well. さらに表示

Everything about the hotel was good.. many great staffs to help you out on queries, going anywhere else within hirafu was so convenient. It will be ideal if they could top up the amenities at every room clean up day will be helpful to travellers. Thank you The Vale for making our stay memorable. さらに表示

The Vale exceeded our expectation. It was our first time skiing/snowboarding and we were able to walk right our of our hotel to the ski lift and ski lessons. Staff always went above and beyond and breakfast was great! Onsen is cleaned daily and great to wind down after a day on the slopes. Will definitely be returning! さらに表示

we had extended our checkout time for 2 hours and being charged at 15000yen they do not provide towels for hot bath breakfast was told it's complimentary but while we are having our breakfast, staffs says it's not included. staff was friendly and kind to drop off us out for lunch さらに表示

I sent a mail asking for public transportation schedule from Kutchan station to their resort while on a train heading to Kutchan and I receive very prompt response before I reached Kutchan, all in less than 20 mins. As next bus was 1.5 hrs away I ended up taking a taxi from Kutchan station for a one way ride of ¥2,100. The place is cosy though the Onsen is not yet open in Nov. Ski lifts are accessible from the basement entrance outside the resort and a skiing school for beginners opposite the resort. Friendly staff, even offered to drive us to the Kutchan train station on our departure date instead of waiting for taxi when they found out we have a train to catch in less than half an hour.
