Great location but that's about it. But hey, you get what you pay for. If you want super clean, great customer service, etc. then you'll not like this place. Of most concern to me was fire safety - there were extinguishers but would have been tricky exciting in a fire. さらに表示

-Small room with a little table, two chairs, tv and a water boiler. -Has aircondition. -Three shared sinks and three toilets per floor, five rooms per floor. Also shared refridgerator and microwave oven. -Toilets cleaned several times a day. -Shower room with five showers in one room on one floor. Boys and girls separate, open for use from 17.00-09.00. -Carpet floor everywhere. Not allowed to wear shoes inside, so it's clean. -Daily cleaning of room, towels changed every other day, bed changed every third/fourth day. -No breakfast or other food service. -Common area by reception with tv and table, don't think it's much in use by other than the manager. -You get to borrow umbrellas and you can park a bike by entrance. -Several parking spots nearby, but you have to pay. Signs say around 1500 yen per day (?). -You can use free Kyoto Internet. Unsecured network with router in hallway. Doesn't work in room, have to sit in hallway. Cons: When we came there was a distinct smell of old house in the room. Got better when we opened window and turned on aircondition. Strange smell in the whole building. Pros: Sentral location with 7/11 where you can withdraw cash nearby. Manager gave us map with instructions where we could go. This is a fairly good establishment for those who don't want to spend a lot of money on hotel, but don't want to share room with a bunch of other people either. We first booked three nights via Agoda, then extended our stay for two nights. Easy check in even though we ordered only one day in advance. Great location in the heart of Kyoto. Landlord was able to tell me which areas to visit, where the best restaurants are etc. Room is ryokan style; so futon and very simple furnishings. Bathroom/shower room is a gender fair job, so all male/all female bathrooms. Nice and clean. さらに表示

-Very happy,located in a very safe and lovly local area of Kyoto.Nice Japanese family who run the Hotel ,were very friendly and ease at registration process and chek out.Good English transaction if you need any information .It was a genuine Japanese environment .Not very luxury but very clean and cozy.No Breakfast or food available just tea and hot water pot .But very close to Nichiki Market that ,If don't ruch , around 9 am, we could get lot's of fresh and delicoius local style food sweet and fruits. Very close to TERAMACHI and local lovely shops in the evening.Just two block away. Lots of covenient marts , Starbuck and T8 Underground access. Close to friendly , home made and very tasty REMEN restaurante that Fried rice were our favorit.All Thai team visit there twice within four day staying at Toomy.My family will stay there again if we choose to visit Kyoyo once again. さらに表示

It was fine. Very Basic Ryokan style rooms which were nice enough, the bathing areas were not below average but got the job done. The price they ask for is way to much for what you are getting! The only upside is you were around two blocks from the Nishiki Market. and also around a 10-15 minute walk to Gion. But as a last option that was the best we could find with out staying at some place way out or really dodgy. Just costs way too much. I recommend a different hotel close by if you have the option or they have rooms available. さらに表示

Basic stay but kind of costly. Reached inn early at 8am but main entrance locked. Waited for about 15mins in the coldbefore the inn staff came back. Whole Inn was quiet. Wifi only available at dinning area and only activated when u ask the inn staff...this was quite inconveniet. Overall, not quite value for money さらに表示

The rooms are simple and small. They are clean and so is the bathroom etc. It is a very simple place - don't expect anything special. But the location is perfect and great for shopping, restaurants, subway, buses etc. さらに表示

Tommy rich Inn Kyto是個很方便的居處，搭公車、地鐵都算近，離錦市場直走三百公尺就到了。就是得用共用澡堂及廁所比較不習慣。雖有網路，但房間裡的訊息稍弱。但大致上還不錯，老闆很親切。 さらに表示
