アメリカ人の主人がインターネットで白川郷のホテルを探していましたが手ごろでベツトのある宿先又朝夕食がついているところが見つかりどのようなところか、身内もつれていたので心配でしたが、フランス料理はまた格別で良い思い出を作ることが出来ました。寝室はいまいちでしたがフランス料理でカバーしたいと思います。値段も手頃で素晴らしかつたとおもいます。ありがとうございました。 さらに表示

白川郷バス停からバスで送迎していただけたお陰で旅がスムーズに成立しました。 お料理は温かくおいしい本格フランス料理。施設は清潔。4人洋室は機能的で過ごしやすく、温泉も気持ちよかったです。 楽しみにしていた白川郷の雪景色は暖冬で皆無でしたが、施設内の散策コースには少し雪がありました。また滞在してみたいです。 さらに表示

Pros - The location and service were great. They have an outdoor onsen where you can soak in hot spring looking at the snow clad mountains. The in room facilities are great - including humidifier, tea set, electric kettle, cooker etc.,. The staff is great, they accommodated my strict vegetarian requirements. Cons - This is very highly priced. You can stay in a good Ryokan at this price. The toiletries provided are comparable to a basic hostel or capsule hotel. Location is about 10 minutes drive from shirakawa-go. View is excellent as I have a room facing a small river and forest. It is so relaxing. Half course dinner is provided but we topup to a full course French dinner and it is nice. Room is spacious. I like this hotel a lot even it is a bit pricy. さらに表示

We had an incredible experience at the Eco-institute! We met with a snowstorm during our stay and the roads back to Takayama where we have a bus to catch back to Tokyo, were all closed. The staff understood our situation and were very kind to help us find alternative routes back to Tokyo. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and they have amazing food and onsen! What more can you ask for! Apparently they have many activities for the guests as well, but we didn't get to experience them due to bad weather. I'll definitely return to stay at this place if I'm around that area. さらに表示

Staff were very patience and friendly. Took time to explained to us on the orientation of our room and the facilities. The hotel is equipped with an indoor and outdoor Onsen. The dinner standard 4 course meal was very good. There is an option to upgrade it to Full course meal. The hotel location is rather far from Shirakawa-go village center. Travelling on foot can be challenging. Fortunately, the hotel do provide free shuttle bus services (Call to arrange). Pick up point is at Shirakawa-go bus terminal. We definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying overnight at Shirakawa-go! さらに表示

One of the more solo friendly lodgings in Shirakawago. As most lodgings in that area only have pricing for room for at least 2 pax. If you want to a single room, you will need to pay the price of 2. But, Toyota eco-institute offers an affordable price for solo traveler. This is one of the main reasons I chose this place. Although it is a 10-15 min ride from the main sight seeing area of shirakawago, but a free shuttle is provided to and fro ( and at any timing you like) . The lodging itself is cosy and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Most of them can speak a bit of English. The onsen was great. The meals were even better. I thought I was going to be hungry since I did not upgrade to the full course dinner, but I was really full and satisfied. The activity "a morning walk in snowy forest" was awesome. It was really fun walking on more than 1 m deep snow. And the scenery was beautiful. It was overall a wonderful stay. さらに表示

Far from Shirakawa that walking to/from there is hardly possible, but hotel could provide shuttle bus service upon request by email or phone. Picking up point is the bus terminal (not the bus stop near the car park) in Shirakawa. || Hotel is in good condition. The room and facilities are clean and tidy. Heating and vantilation is are enough. The view of my room is forest in snow so it was quite good. Private toilet and basin in rooms but bathroom is shared/common. Open air hot spring is provided. Restaurant is good but the dinner is quite small in size if you do not upgrade to full course (extra charges). Staff are polite and helpful and can communicate in general English in email and in oral. || Cons: actually it is far away from everything else (not only Shirakawa) that there is nothing around in walking distant but the natural environment. No convenience store. If you need any drinks or food there are vendoring machines but choices are limited. さらに表示

If you plan to stay overnight whilst visiting Ogimachi Village in Shirakawago, then you really should stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and there is a natural hotspring onsen that will soothe your tiredness away. But you need a car to get to the hotel as it is up on a hill. So I only gave a 3 for location. But everything else is superb. Make sure you order all your meals because it is a remote location and there are no eateries nearby. さらに表示

It is the best alternative if you can't book a place to stay in the 白川鄉合掌屋. It can be booked using internet instead of the 合掌屋 that you need to speak to them over the phone in Japanese! Really a big resort but also an education institute where local Japanese student can enjoy a short stay there. Good French style dinner. We participate in an outdoor winter walk in the snowed areas led by a tutor and really enjoyed it. さらに表示

The ambience are good, modern and classic, surround by the mother nature. They served the french cuisine for dinner, its worth to try! There's many leaflets but all in Japanese, no much English information to read in the room, suggest that at least put the English version of 'what to do' for the Onsen. It's about 10min drive from the Shiragawa-go herritage village, but the pick up services are good, the tourism centre of Shiragawa-go help me to inform the hotel, the driver just arrived within 10min. when on the road to hotel, you will see the beautiful dem, the driver is nice, stop the car and let me take the photo:) It's a very good stay with TOYOTA Shirakawa-Go Eco-Institute. さらに表示

Nice place to stay. Up on the hill. Modern amenities. Toilet inside the room. Nice communal bath/shower communal at the onsen wash area. Regular shuttles to & from Bus stop. Call and the nice staff will pick up too on demand. Had a nice stay. Recommending it. さらに表示

Staff picked us up in Shirakawa-go at the time we requested. Room was large and everything was oriented toward managing the size of our Eco-footprint. Excellent local foods prepared like a 4-star restaurant. Beautiful setting up the hill from the village with numerous hiking trails and educational programs. We checked in late evening and there's nothing to do except for the onsen provided, we then had our dinner which surprised us as its was modern western dining but too bad they could not arrange some orders for the kids, so we shared some of the food with our kids and the staffs were kind to offer some breads too.
