The staff is kind and helpful, The place is spotless clean with the best location near the port and bus stop. The only problem I had is that the loundry Machine gave my clothes a horrible smell... さらに表示

Situated minutes away from the ferries' terminal, the property is very well maintained and the welcome package from the owner has absolutely all you need to access all local activities (busses schedules and passes, hikes, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.)
I had a very pleasant stay with frequent Japanese and international guests interactions.
Definitely a welcoming place I recommend for anyone visiting Yakushima's fairy tale forests. さらに表示

I've travelled 14 hostels in a 2 months journey through Japan and this hostel hosted the best people by far.
Not sure, if I was lucky or if Yakushima attracts interesting people but I had really nice conversations with a lot of different people from all around the world. And also made a new, very good friend.
