nice onsen .....quiet and cosy ryokan. Dinner and breakfast are yummy! If you are visiting Kurokawa onsen town make sure you visit the town first then proceed to the ryokan as you wouldn't want to get out of the ryokan once you step in. さらに表示

Excellent facilities and amenities for guests. More than adequate onsen baths, both in and outdoor, and nice too. Dinner and breakfast serve at the restaurant are delicious. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. Most speak and understand simple English. Other pros are star gazing observatory and the after dinner drinks at the fire hearth hut. Accessability is not so convenient without own transport. Strongly recommended. The hotel has kept most of the wooden structures, corridor, sliding doors, tatami, etc. so it feel old (in the good way) and authentic. We had diner and breakfast included. It was AMAZING! Excellent! - quiet and cozy place for healing your body and mind. we could watch stars at night around 9~9:30pm on the roof top and free sake time @8~10pm. 24 hr open air bath was also great! Food was good except a bit salty taste as Japanese food is salty さらに表示

The staffs are friendly, helpful and humble. The Ryokan makes you feel the austenitic Japanese tradtiotion. There are three private family onsens, one is open air, for those who are not familiar with the traditional onsen. Ryokan's atmosphere is great, and its location is just 10 minutes away from Kurokawa Spa town. The breakfast and dinner are impressive. さらに表示

The beef in that 10 course dinner is insanely delicious. That star watching section actually has a freaking huge telescope that i wonder if the owner uses his whole life saving to buy that, they have an expert explaining the astronomy in Japanese (only), and I saw shooting star! The staffs are awesome, I have this malfunction credit card, but they can actually make it work. U can also book a massage section. I got a facial massage at 5000 yen only. That lady was like crafting on my face with extreme seriousness and professionalism. They have 7 onsen baths, 3 of them are private baths and no advanced booking is required. さらに表示

The whole experience was fantastic! We arrived at 6:3-pm and the welcome was warm and nice. The room was spacious and well-decorated. The dinner and breakfast were both outstanding and delicious. The outdoor onsen was close to nature and very comfortable/ The surprises were the room with Japanese bornfire and rooftop for viewing stars! Overall a 5-star choice! さらに表示
