Lovely traditional Ryokan, located in perfect place, right in the centre of Osaka, walking distance to the main sights. This was perfect, lively neighbourhood. A great experience and lovely and attentive staff. Only issue was no bathroom (just a toilet and a sink) in our room and showers were located in an onsen which was obviously shared with other guests so this might be a bit uncomfortable for some - otherwise great experience and great staff. さらに表示

My friends and I had the most wonderful stay at this perfectly located ryokan. The locationw as what really drove us to choose this place, as the Dotonbori markets are literally a stone's throw away, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation and service provided at this modest establishment. The staff were very polite and friendly, the Japanese breakfast was a delight and totally worth the cost, and the Onsen provided much needed relief at the end of our busy touristy days. The rooms are spotless, and the river view from the 7th floor was also a great start to our mornings. We have decided to never stay anywhere else if (when) we return to Osaka. Location is nearer to Nipponbashi Subway station, about 15 mins required to get to Namba station. Staffs English proficiency is quite good, no problems communicating. Kids like the Ryokan and tatami experience and they enjoy going to the small hot spring at the basement. It's lovely to get different snacks and teapot to enjoy tea-break in the room. さらに表示

I made a mistake when making reservations, looking for a cheap room. I saw a comment about the bathroom, but did not think it was important because there is a general bathroom size. If I knew that the bathroom of this room was very small, I would not have reserved this discount room. I am a bit curious about the size of the other bathroom. Pros: Great location, 5 minute walk from Dotonbori (a lively food and shopping area). Very friendly staff, onsen within the hotel (a bonus if you didnt get to experience an onsen whilst on your trip). Cons: My room smelt of smoke and the hotel staff were very understanding and deoderised my room. This didnt work so they tried it again. The second time didn't work either. So they moved me into another room, however were apologetic. I did have to pay extra as it was a bigger room, however it was only an extra $20 per night. It worked out in the end. さらに表示

We were pleasantly surprised. The 4 tatami mat Japanese room was excellent, comfy futons and the green yakatas were an excellent touch. The side sitting room was appreciated as was the little fridge and kettle. I imagine that the serenity is highly dependent upon other travellers, however it was quiet during our stay and the staff were welcoming. さらに表示

The hotel is located 2 min away from Dotombori Street. It is a little inconvenient to reach from the Shin-Osaka station (I had to switch trains twice, I think) but it takes not more than 45 min to reach the hotel. The staff is friendly. The room is a little old, but clean. The staff will set up your futon when you are away in the afternoon. The bedding is comfortable and clean. The room is very comfortabLe, but the check out timing is way too early at 10 am. Normal hotel check out timing is approximately 12 noon. Hope they can revise the timing it will bring greater comfort. Lastly, we managed to take a bathe at the public sauna before we left Osaka despite we have already checked out the hotel. さらに表示

Comfortable stay with much traditional feel especially if you tried the public bath. Located near the popular district dotonbori yet quite some distance away from Namba train station (JR line). Staff will come into our room and help prepare our bed (futon) when we are not around. Although nothing was missing, it is recommended not to keep valuables in the room. The fridge have an auto-lock system at 6:30am and whatever beverage pulled out from their individual slots will be charged. So do not fiddle with the fridge unnecessary. さらに表示

Highly recommendable for Osaka travellers. Hotel is located literally right next to Dotombori food street and relatively near most of Osaka's prime shopping districts such as Shinsaibashi. Nearest train station is also a few minutes away. Staff were very accomodating and the room itself provided an authentic Japanese house feel. 4 people (age range 20 to 50) stayed and we all loved this hotel. It's not a brandnew, modern or luxurious hotel but it has its own charm including the great location! The location covers it all. The spacious Tadami room was very Japanese traditional. the futons were nicely set upon our arrival. The bathroom was quite big too. The bathtub area, sink and toilet were all separated so it worked fantastic for 4 people. Nicely prepared Yukata made all of us so happy. The public bath in the basement was way smaller than we thought (I guess it can hold maximum 5-6people at once maybe?) We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel! 20대부터 50대까지 모두가 좋아했던 호텔입니다. 도톤보리를 관광하기 최적의 위치였습니다. 오래된 건물이라 럭셔리하고 세련된 스타일은 아니지만 전통적인 다다미 방과 침구, 유카타가 깨끗했고, 욕조, 세면대, 변기가 다 분리된 욕실도 좋았습니다. 지하의 온천은 정말 작았지만 하루의 피로를 풀 수 있어 좋았습니다. さらに表示

Pro: we loved this place. The room was very spacious for the two of us. Everything was so clean. The tea and snacks when welcomed was soooo nice. The bath downstairs was so nice and relaxing and it was quite fun to go down in the yukata. We were on the 8th floor so the view of the canal and dotonbori were amazing. Con: the breakfast was a little pricy for what it was, but delicious overall. Also a little noisey at night but what can you except in the middle of a tourist area ^^ さらに表示

Had a great time across the road from central Dontonbury. Room great fun. Simple, with all we needed. Sleeping on the floor mattresses for a few nights added to the adventure. Nearest coin laundry a bit of a walk away. Would recommend. さらに表示

The meal is good but the second day meal was not as agood as the first day. The second day room service girl changed to another girl, the girl did not put the sleeping bed until 8:30pm so I put the sleeping bed by myself. The hot spring and location is good. さらに表示

The room was extremely spacious for japan standard, very clean. The proximity of the hotel from dotonburi and subway station was excellent. However, service was lacking, little to no presence of staff around the hotel, basically you need to figure out everything yourself by reading the note giving to you upon check it. Public bath was quite sad, just a little aged pool which makes for an awkward bath with more than 2 people. Our air-conditioning could only to set to heat and fan which caused the room to be extremely warm and uncomfortable. We had to keep the windows open as a result and lived with the noise outside (given 3rd floor room)resulting in extremely bad rest. Lobby smells strange, probably due to the restaurant which seems to be very popular with locals. さらに表示

Great hotel to experience Japanese style living. Hotel was in a good location, close to shopping, train station and staff was very friendly. Japanese breakfast was not enough to fill your stomach but eating Japanese style was a great experience. I would recommend this hotel. さらに表示

Very pleasing! The room is spacious and gives a very authentic japanese experience. Hotel is easy to find and the Dotonburi street is just 3 mins away!!! Our stay even includes a free kimono/yukata costume rental. I really love this Ryokan. But you have to request for hot drinking water every time and although they can understand and speak english it is still a little bit difficult to converse with them. it was all good, we were very happy to have the japanese traditional experiences, they served green tea and grey tea in the room completed with kimonos, so we can take a good picture of the tea ceremony. But since we brought 2 kids, 9 and 10 years old with us and we have to pay additional charge for 2 extra beds. さらに表示
