大雪だったので湯布院観光はできず、とても残念でした。でも、ユースホステル内に温泉があるので朝夜とゆっくり楽しむ事ができ、夜はユースホステル主催で他の宿泊者と共にトランプをしたり、楽しかったです。コーヒーや紅茶が無料で電子レンジも使えますが、キッチンは使えなかったのは個人的には残念でしたが、私の思い込みと確認不足です。海外ユースホステルと日本のユースホステルはちょっと違うので、私のような人は ご注意を。駅からタクシーは¥1000かかりますし、食事付きが無難です。 さらに表示

Excellent Dinner and Good Breafast. Very Clean and cosy hostel. Run with HEART. Please dont forget to join the night activities that not ever offered by other accommodation. The farewell just got my goose pumps. Please stay in this hostel and you will understand hows my feeling. Don't forget to visit their website and get more information. definitely the best hostel experience so far! nice meal, nice onsen, extraordinarily nice hosting family the arrangement for evening activities is fluffy location-vise, it's an uphill walking from the station but they would arrange transportation when the bus is off at weekend. and you could walk past some quality onsens on the way up if you do not carry much luggage さらに表示

The location is bit far from the Yufuin Station and the town. Probably it suitable who drives and you will be able to find out the location where is it. The overall environment is nice and clean with a free public bath, not to mention about drinks are snacks are also free as well. さらに表示

Although it is a little bit far away from City Center, it is very worth to stay at this hostel. The host, Ryo and his family is very nice; the dinner & lunch is very delicious, the Onsen is also good. Ryo arranged the walking activitity and drum performance presented by his son for us. We stay here for one night. It has good price & nice tatmi room. You can enjoy the famous hot spring in the Japanese style bathroom. Their common area close at midnight, it's quite early for a backpacker. We ordered the breakfast, it cost around 700yen/person, if you would like the traditional Japanese breakfast, I'll recommend you to try it. さらに表示

i think there is just 2 backpackers in Yufuin. so it's really hard to stay there if you are alone. it doesn't matter if you are over 2 people, you have chance to choose the hostel which u want. Anyway i had booked this hostel before arrived. i really appreciated to being at the hostel. it's comfortable and cozy and there is little spa. so you can spa when you want. In the dormitory there is a Tv, a couch with small table and locker. the staffs of this hostel are kind. if u stay there for a long time, u can get some help for making a plan in Yufuin from the hostel staff. he will recommend some places for you! :-) さらに表示

Good place and nice host. Far from the station, but it's ok for me. There are buses you can take up here. Need to confirm the timetable of the bus with the owner first, though. And the owner dropped me off just in front of the station the day I checked out. さらに表示

I visited here alone at night for a day several months ago. the owner was so kind and he picked me up even at night. I liked the hot tub on underground they have. the bed was so cozy that i could have really nice sleep. The have some programs thing like singing and sightseeing which I couldnt join unfortunately but sounds really interesting. I stiil have good memory staying here. I like the location which is up the hill. You can have a nice view from the hostel. The host was friendly and offered entertainment for guests every evening. However I’m quite sensitive with the cleanness of bedding. I was allergic all the time with my nose and skin while saying there. Hope it will be improved soon. The location is not convenient, but there was a shuttle bus, so it was okay. And thank for the place, I saw beautiful night scene and cloud sea. The staff took us to see the firefly, which was amazing. You can see the good view in the dining room. Sweet staffs sang a song with guitar when we were leaving. Country Road Youth Hostel is a bit out of Yufuin, but once you arrive you are rewarded with amazing views of Yufuin below. The dorm was clean and comfortable and the hot spring was an added bonus. I opted to eat dinner there, and it was tasty and filling. I walked, but they do offer a one-time shuttle to and from the JR station. The owners were friendly, nice and spoke English. Compared to what places cost in Yufuin, this hostel is a good deal! さらに表示

It was one of my favourite places to stay through out Japan. The room is very clean and tidy. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They’ll tell you everything very clearly at the counter when you check in, i.e the dinner time, when to check out…etc. The dinner was very delicious ( which you have to order in advance ) They located half way up a mountain but it’s very easy to get there by taxi (only 5 mins and it’s not expensive only around 8xx yen ). Really nice mountain view especially during sunset. The hot spring is really nice as well. I also joined the free night tour with my roommate and it was just memorable :) They will drive you to the JR station from the hostel every morning @ 8:20a.m Given the affordable price, I will definitely stay here again if I am back to yufuin and I would like to recommend this hostel to all of you :) さらに表示

I came in the summer, not a peak time to visit Yufuin. There's not much people staying so the place is kinda relax. I ordered dinner and breakfast, which were awesome! It's a mixed of traditional Japanese & western dishes. The location of the hostel is very scenic both in the morning and at night. Ryo was so helpful and he likes to make everyone's stay very memorable. And the onsen was perfect and relaxing too. It's not near the Yufuin town proper but the travel is worth it. さらに表示
