友達と娘の三人で宿泊しました。到着してすぐの冷たいジュースのサービスは嬉しかったです。私がベジタリアンなので朝ごはんのそぼろを抜いて下さいと頼んだら、快く承諾してもらえました。貸切露天風呂が５つもあるので夜と朝ゆっくり入る事ができて良かったです。従業員の方々の笑顔とサービスに癒されました。ありがとうございました！！ さらに表示

All staffs were very helpful ,friendly and good communication in english. Good location with the beautiful river view. Not far from the main street and station. Clean room with large space enough for 3 people in a room. There are 6 onsens that can be locked to be private. You can leave yr luggage and pick it up later. Good: Very friendly staffs Fully equipped with good onsens, tolietries Yukata is provided and you can select designs Location is walking distance to the train station, less than 10mins with lugguage Free bicycles! And cycling around Yufuin is the best experience for anyone, i strongly reccomend. Private hot spring baths for families which are excellent for those with young children. There is also a large and beautiful play area for the children. Staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Though the place is a bit dated but it is well maintained and they told me the futons are changed after the guests leave. Would definitely recommend this ryokan for families with children. さらに表示

A small but delicate and nice hotel to stay, have 5 spring rooms can use. The staffs welcome us warmly, make us just feel like the name of the hotel ‘ welcome home’. It’s a pity that there is no hot water in the washstand, too cold for us to use to refresh ourselves in the morning. But overall experience was good! さらに表示

The date I checked in was 30-Nov. When I came back at night, I tried to enjoy the hotspring. However, there was no hot water. I though it didn't know how to use the tap for hot water. I gave up. The next day when I checked out, I was told the hot water facility was broken. I am surprised there was not notification to inform hotel guest nor ways for guest to reach out for support. The staff at Okaeri was so welcoming, always there in the morning to greet us with a big smile. Due to the design of the old house though, some of the rooms are very near to a staircase so just need to take that into consideration with for the very young or old. I was a bit concerned about the shared bathroom but it worked out just fine. The outdoor onsen was especially fun. The kids playroom is such a thoughtful touch. There is an a/c and heater unit in the room which may not be the case for all ryokans, so take advantage of it as it gets cold ! Worth mentioning that even though there does not seem to be a lot of activity around the ryokan, but I saw one or two very nice Japanese restaurants just a short bridge away when you turn right as you come out of the hotel, so that might be worth considering as dinner options. It is obviously not a luxurious experience, but very warm and homey and a great choice for our budget. The kids loved it and we will definitely recommend! さらに表示
