４ヶ月の赤ちゃん連れでしたので部屋に露天風呂付きの宿を探していました。今回違うお部屋で２泊しましたが１泊目は露天風呂付きのお部屋に泊まりました。お部屋は想像していたものより狭かったですが、食事が隣の部屋で出来たのは良かったです。旅館はとても古いですが清掃はしてあります。メインのお風呂も利用しましたがいつも電気が消えており、最初どこにスイッチがあるのか探しました。食事は量もちょうどよくおいしかったです。また気になったのは案内された部屋がタバコ臭く赤ちゃんがいたのでスプレーをしてもらいました。部屋のみでなく館内全体がとてもタバコ臭くて、この日は私たちだけの宿泊だったのでおそらく旅館のスタッフがいつも吸っているのだと思いますが気にかけて欲しいと思いました。 おもてなしという点においては多々欠けている所が見られました。 総合的には良かったですがサービスと提供している値段が釣り合っていないと感じました。お部屋の露天風呂は温度もちょうどよくとても気持ちが良かったです。 さらに表示

After a typhoon meant I had to cancel our accommodation elsewhere, I made a booking on the day to stay at Uohan and, despite the last minute confusion this caused, staying there was the highlight of our trip. The hospitality of the owners was some of the best I’ve ever received and I couldn’t be more grateful. On top of that, the food was delicious, the rooms were lovely and the baths were heavenly! If you’re looking for an authentic and homely experience, look no further. I’m already thinking about when I can next visit. さらに表示

We booked a ryokan with its own shower and toilet, but ended up getting an extra perk by getting one with its own private onsen! The room was quite big, a bit too big for just a couple. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, but didn't speak English. Uohan is a bit far from Yuragawa station, most of the times we took a taxi (around 1,000 yen+) to and from the station since the Hakone bus schedule is rather infrequent. さらに表示

First the positives. My stay was peaceful and relaxing, and staff were very attentive. The in-room dinner and breakfast were quite an experience, especially the multi-course dinner which just kept coming and coming. (I asked to be given less food on the second night, and they were happy to oblige.) Being served in a traditional Japanese room by a very friendly and helpful lady in a kimono really added a lot to the experience. There was a little private onsen right outside the bathroom, next to a stream. I slept with the French windows open (but mosquito screens closed), which meant I fell asleep both nights to the sound of a babbling stream and crickets; super-quiet at night. Hakone is easily reached by bus, and you can pay with your Pasomo card if you have one, which saves messing around with their rather complex system of payment. There were some negatives, the main one being the price. I did book very last minute, requesting “Japanese room with hotspring” but on arrival I was told I’d been upgraded; looking at the photos it seems I got the “Japanese Style with Open-Air Spa”. Even though I didn't book the most expensive room it turns out to have cost USD 360/night including breakfast and dinner (dinner adds quite a bit to the cost it seems, but is well worth it; especially since there’s very little choice nearby). This seems excessive compared to the prices of other places in the region. Yes, the onsen is private, but it’s barely big enough for one person to squeeze in, and you’re a sitting duck for mosquitoes being out by the stream. There are smoking rooms in the Ryokan and several times I had someone else’s smoke wafting into my room, including while I was eating, which was off-putting. The Ryokan is quite old and shabby in places, and the room smelt rather musty; I guess the humidity being next to the stream must make it worse. This part of Yugawara is basically a street with a couple of restaurants (which mainly looked closed), a police station, a さらに表示

This place is great and no issues. We checked in early without any problems. The dinner was delicious and the presentation unique to say the least. The water is a must drink as it comes from Mt. FUJI. Its best to spend the extra money for your private onsen as it is the most relaxing with the creek passing by. It's conveniently located near a foot onsen a 15 minutes walk, and a water fall. Service was very attentive, they try there best to communicate with you despite not knowing very much English, though they have preset English instructions and information which is handy. They take time seriously so if u say u want your coffee at 8am expect it at 8am on the dot. They actively listen so if u say your going somewhere they have suggestions. This place is and older place but worth visiting a second time as I plan to do in the future. Easy access from the train station by bus, the yugawara information tourist center speaks English and is by the entrance to the train station. Se volete tastare un po' del Giappone tradizionale private uno ryokan, una tipologia di hotel che troverete solo in Giappone... Non considerate questo hotel solo una base per passare la notte, perché ogni cosa in uno ryokan ha dei riti e richiede del tempo.. Interessante il fatto che l'hotel abbia due spa, ma sono separate tra uomo e donna percui per usarle entrambe dovete avere tempo a disposizione in doversi orari della giornata è cmq non aspettatevi troppo, ogni. Spa ha una piscina ed una zone lavaggio.. se per voi l'acqua risulterà troppo calda, avete finito il vostro momento relax.. さらに表示
