This ryokan was run in “basic family style”. We had room 101 and in general it was fine and clean. The shower however was located in an externally built facility attached to the room which is not ideal if it is winter as it could have been cold to take a shower there. さらに表示

Simple welcome drink and snack upon check-in. Japanese room layout; comfortable for 3-4 person. Room has separate shower, toilet and onset; perfect for those who are not totally comfortable with public onsen. Free car park. Although hotel does not have a restaurant, it is a 2 min walk to Okonomiyaki Restaurant, small neighborhood joint which serves excellent Western dishes. It is a basic hotel, but the rooms are huge and newly renovated, many with large private wooden baths. The staff are very helpful, but don't speak any English. There is a bit of noise from the road. さらに表示

I've selected this hotel to feel Japan style while pursing convenience and it was almost a perfect match to my interest. It was semi-western style, Japaneses traditional floor but with two queen size beds and the room was that much spacious. In the bathroom, it also has a traditional bathtub and arrangements. It has a unique dining area, actually for breakfast, cubicled only for us, me and my wife, and the food was wonderful. I could remind a columnist's description "Japanese food also has its own beauty". Not only its beauty, it's big and with full of heart of the cook, the smilely old lady's. Something sorry were we had to spend almost an hour to locate the hotel, and could smell smocker's from the room though we reserved non-smocker's. I'll not hesitate grading it SUPERB, though. さらに表示
